“Really nice outdoor garden. This place has vastly improved over the years. It has lots of outdoor seating some covered and some in the open which is great. The covered seating booths also have timer heaters which is a noce feature. Drinks are ok, cocktails were hit and miss. Also really appreciate that they are open on Mondays. And daving thest till last, you can actually get a fantastic sunday roast in Streatham common!”

“I have been a semi-regular in The Ship for about 5 years now and every time I've been in there, I've had a great time. The managers Jackie and Mark are amazing, as are all the staff there. The music is heavy, the drinks have always been reasonably priced and the regulars are always fun to hang out with. Never a dull moment in The Ship and never had a problem there before. 10/10 venue. The spring rolls were so lovely and crispy on arrival as the restaurant had purposely cut the corner of the take away container to avoid them steaming up en route. “When east meets west you get this delightful treat you get this delightful treat. The paneer sag burger is my favourite vegetarian burger and is probably up there as one of my top ten burgers. Really good burger and the flavours were different levels. Same feelings about the Naga Delhi burger very good flavours are not over powering they’re all working together and if you have space highly recommend the poppadoms”

“Was a great lunch out. The staff were amazing and helpful seeing as we were the first through the door. A small but comfy restaurant doesn't feel crowded with a lovely Alpine feel. The food was lovely. The Pate was quite rich so but still very nice. The prawn cocktail was well made and they weren't stingey with the prawns. Our main of the vegetable fondue was nice and the vegetables were nicely prepared. Will be returning to try out the different options on the menu.”

“We went on a Thursday evening restaurant was fairly busy with a nice atmosphere very buzzy local restaurant with chilled background music and nice low lighting with candles on the tables…. The mixed starter we had was exceptionally good and the wait between starter to mains was 20/25 minutes actually nice to have a chat in between and you could tell everything was cooked fresh instead of when it comes out in 5mins from the microwave in some other places we have been too. We had the salt&pepper squid the best I’ve tasted and the mossaman beef really delicious and tender the coconut rice was a large portion and the tempura cod with mild chilli and onion omg. We had so much food that we took home a doggy bag which we enjoyed again the next day. Overall a lovely local restaurant good traditional Thai food and good value we love this place.”

“I had ordered 1 Beef wrap, 1 Unda Chicken Wrap and 2 Chicken Tikka wraps and I got my order in under 10 minutes. I was very much surprised but it was a great service and the staff is very friendly. To be honest the location of this place is very nice and once you sit inside you'll really get the feel of sitting in a roadside stall in India. The ambiance and the atmosphere just outside is too Londonish while inside is purely Desi. One other thing that I liked about Kathi Roll is that they put up an Air conditioner in the shop and that too 2 air conditioners. I was with my 2 other friends and I even planned to order the masala chai. The Chai was not very up to the mark but it was average. The last time I went there, I had the shami kabab roll and it was delicious so I thought of experimenting and having something else this time. Overall a very nice place to eat out with friends.”
