“We were meant to go here a couple of years ago then the pandemic hit so it got delayed. It was tricky to book as it's so popular but we got a table for lunch and decided to each have a different tasting menu so we could try everything on offer. The service was brilliant, the food was sublime. The offer of a cheese course before the desserts was very welcome, and the selection of cheeses was great.”

“OMG. Loved this place - one of my favourite meals of 2022, despite it being mostly vegetarian. The only thing I didn't like was the aubergine...but more my tastebuds kind of thing. Cassava was a revelation, the cauliflower fried bits were gorgeous, the black bean tacos were surprisingly good. Even the chicken was great. Don't be afraid if you are a carnivore like me...venue is awesome too, and quite the surprise.”

The quality and variety is what stood out for me - starters such as Jeera Chicken made with chicken on the bone, cassava root with garlic and chilli and paneer shashlik were my favourites. Also a great selection of organic foods and tony's chocolate (apart from the dark chocolate salt and almond). Highly recommend the massive pot of hummus and fresh herbs. “We stumbled across this Italian gem whilst looking for a bite to eat ahead of the Varsity Hockey match at the Olympic Hockey arena. We were warmly greeted by owner Matteo, and we immediately felt comfortable. We had cheese burgers and chips, which were delicious as you would expect from a master butcher. I had a pint of the on tap IPA, which was super refreshing. Great shop, with onsite butcher, deli, wine, and beer for sale. Wish we lived closer. The locals are spoilt with this exceptional establishment right on their doorsteps.”

“Great quality Thai in an interesting location. We've ordered the pad thai and the red curry with the jasmine rice. The food was excellent. One of the best thai restaurants we've been. The location is great. The atmosphere not that great though. Prices are not bad. However you must pay in cash, which is not very convenient or practical. Would visit again.”

“This is one of the best Haitian Food restaurants I have been to anywhere including in Haiti. PERIOD! The beautiful dinning room and bar really set the stage for what is to come. The drinks are excellent and top quality (try the rhum punch or the 15-year Barbancourt). The Haitian cuisine and presentation offered here is beyond amazing and beyond delectable. It should also be said the Anglophone Caribbean dishes on the menu are also very delicious. I have been here 4 times in the last two weeks and the wait staff has always been kind and responsive. “I have dined here several times and each time they never fail to amaze me. I introduced my Spanish friend to Somali food yesterday and she loved it. She has an open mind and excited to try foods from different cultures and loved her experience. I over-ate as usual lol because the food is absolutely delicious especially the green chilli sauce which I love, hot but tasty. Huge man size portions and very reasonably priced especially as I tend to order lamb. Thank you for your amazing food and wonderful service.”

“I ordered here for the first time and I loved the food. The brown stew fish was so delicious and flavoursome, the rice and peas were tasty, the steamed vegetables were enjoyable and the dumpling was good. The dumpling was thrown in for free which was a nice touch. The portion sizes are very generous, really good value for money. I phoned the restaurant to see if the rice and peas were included with the brown stew fish and the woman on the phone was really warm and friendly. I've tried many Caribbean takeaways in East London and this one is by far the best. I would highly recommend!”
