Fresh local food in Gravesend

“It's an ok place for a satisfactory Indian restaurant. It's a British slant on Indian food and I don't think it's very authentic but the food is still good with an attentive staff who I found to be very business like in their approach. I enjoyed the atmosphere and it was very busy. It seems to be popular enough. I certainly will return as I liked the place. Gravesend is blessed with many Indian restaurants specialising with food from around that country this restaurant gives a good example of the British Indian food tradition.”

“first time visiting an iceland. lovely supermarket with a wide range of items. very systematic layout - freezers on both sides of each aisle with other items on shelves above them, and a nice big fridge covering the back area. i picked up some energy drinks on my visit today. i will definitely consider visiting iceland more often.”

“I love Thai food but rarely enjoy it because either it isn't authentic or it's freaking expensive. This place makes me enjoy Thai food the way I like it - Authentic and Great value for money. The food is made and served by a great bunch of women from Thailand. They cook most food to order and they taste so authentic. We ordered: Spring rolls (£3.50) - which were okay not superb but okay. Prawn (£5.50) and Chicken (£5.00) Pad Thai which were so amazingly tasty and perfect quantity. Even the kids enjoyed eating them. Prawn Green curry with rice (£5.50) - yummy and wish it had a bit more Of the gravy as it want enough for the rice provided. Finished off with a milkshake (£2.50) - reminded me of the shakes you get in Asia. Tasty! The staff are amazing and friendly. They don't talk much but when they do they are polite and smiling. The seating is limited as they share a market. Located well. Parking is available right outside this market at £1.30 cash only for an hour. Overall I'm glad I found this stall. A bit away from Dartford but if I'm in Gravesend or craving for a nice Thai food, I know where to go!”

“Recently visited this place and my overall experience were positive. Great atmosphere and helpful staff. I ordered Caprese do Bufala (creamy mozzarella with tomato and pesto), Bronzino al Forno (sea bass) and Chocolate dessert. This had a real nice flavour profile. Dessert was amazing. “It started a little hectic as one of our tables was cancelled as they thought it was a duplicate booking… considering we walked in at a very busy time (14 of us), with a little hiccup, we had a lovely warm welcome… lovely family atmosphere… served warm bread and dips whilst waiting for starters… main course was timed perfectly. Could not fault the staff, service or the food. Kings Arms is back on the map, well done, we’ll see you again soon..”

“We used to go to another place where these people had but they closed and we never tried any other Chinese takeaway. I was thrilled to, quite by chance, saw the Lady behind the counter. I went there as soon as I could and the meal was just as good as before ☺️. Looking forward to my next visit”

“If you want quality clothes, Sainsbury's always provides. I brought an off white waterproof polyurethane 3 quarter length Coat. It's really stylish. It also has a lining across the back and chest for warmth. Really nice!! I do hope they keep making this product because it has been commented on when I was shopping. Someone asked me where I got it! Their clothes are of good quality. Definitely recommend Sainsbury's for clothing.”
