“I've only ever driven through Cheam before my visit yesterday, a trip by public transport (tram and train) from Croydon specifically to visit the Whitehall museum, housed in a grade II* listed former domestic dwelling dating from before the reign of Henry VIII. While the museum is an important place of reference for local history, geared more towards children than adults, it also houses the excellent Freedom Caffe' tearoom. The restrictions imposed by such an old, historic house may mean they can't use a normal commercial coffee machine but the range of soft drinks is impressive and more importantly, the vegan options for lunch are delicious. I highly recommend both the vegan sausage roll with salad and the vegan Greek. Then there are the cakes... The only vegan option on the day was a chocolate pear and apple cake but it was gorgeous and the staff were attentive and friendly and the food reasonably priced. I also noted the fresh pasta preparation. There's more to Cheam than the museum but whatever else you're doing it's well worth making sure you visit the Freedom Caffe' for a drink and a bite to eat.”

“I don't do reviews but today I had an amazing experience in Epsom Puccino's. The blonde lady that served me was very friendly and she made me the best mocha I have ever tasted in my life. Not only did it taste good, it looked good too because she made a cute art on it that brightened up my day. Sometimes small stuff like art on your coffee can brighten up someone's day. Keep up the amazing customer service guys, your really do know how to satisfy your customers. I will definitely recommend Epsom Puccino's to all my friends and colleagues.”

“Absolutely lovely little coffee shop! Was in the area and dropped in for a quick coffee. What a surprise! Not many seats but most people seem to be taking away. No food was available, but that wasn't what I was there for. The latte I had was perfect. All too often it is too hot or cold, the coffee used is of poorer quality and the foam is limp and lacklustre. How different it is here! Absolutely, one of the best coffees I have ever had. Great blend (of which I will be taking some beans home myself), perfect heat, superb froth. Delightful! The icing on the cake (if you can excuse the pun!) was the treat in the form of an Espresso Soft Serve. In effect a Mr Whippy blended with an expresso. Marvellous! Next time I am walking past, I shall definitely stop. I may even change my route to "walk past" Thank you Rosslyn!”

I just came in for a peruse initially out of curiosity, but then she gave me lots of advice and inspiration for new dishes i'd wanted to but never cooked before. “My family have been coming to this place for 20-odd years. Every single time, the food is fantastic. The flavours are brilliant, and the variety of choice is something we love. It is genuinely hard to go wrong with anything off this menu, and they are even willing to make vegetarian version of starters/mains that otherwise have meat in them upon request (personal favourite is the mushroom chaat puri they make instead of the chicken version).”

Myself and my new wife held our wedding reception at Rossella this past week and I have to give them 5 stars not only for the service and food but also for their assistance with planning which began before the pandemic scuppered our plans. When it came to choosing a venue for nearly 70 of our friends and family to share our day with us there was only 1 place we wanted to do it. Having eaten at the restaurant previously and impressed with the food quality and service we returned to speak about the possibility of utilising the venue for our special day. From the moment we spoke we were reassured that we had indeed made the right choice in Rossella. Luca - the owner is hands on and really knows his food...and wine. We had a few testers and decided on the menu. In the lead up to our day Luca helped us with seating plans and the logistics of the day which we hadn't given a second thought too. On the day of our wedding we arrived to be greeted by a champagne reception and a smiling Luca. Nothing was too much trouble. The whole team were accomodating to all from our 6 month old neice to my wife's 90 year old grandmother. The food was top class and portions generous. I had a T bone steak which was cooked to perfection and tasted beautiful with the family wines we had chosen - this wasn't a one off from the seabass to the meatballs many of our guests have said that the food was the best they had ever had at a wedding. We danced the night away - the team again being accommodating to our dance group which was the evenings entertainment - nothing was too much trouble - Luca from myself and the new Mrs. T thank you to you and your team we had so many wonderful compliments on your venue and the food. “Amazing dishes and service and place! We got the rice covered with leave for the starter and it was so good! Also the lamb with pita bread was amazing. We asked to cut the chicken wrap in two and they were so kind to cut it nicely! The service in general was amazing and so kind. Also the place was very pretty with the gold frame without the paintings :) And I really really enjoy baklava! They said they prepare it for 4 days. The quality was so much higher from other baklava on the street. I would like to come back for sure if I want to have Greek food!”

“Went over the weekend for brunch. 1st time here even though I don't live too far from it. I very rarely give 5 star reviews, but this place just ticks all the boxes. Food is tasty and well presented, good choice of hot and cold drinks, and the flat white was probably the best I've ever had, so smooth and creamy. The owner came around to our table asking if everything was Ok, and she was quite friendly. A very good find despite the building it's in being covered with scaffolding”

“Still finding my way around local coffee places. Westerham is a lovely town with good shops, restaurants and general facilities. I can now add good coffee. Fabulous place we found after popping into my partners local bike shop. Coffee good as was the cake I had with it. I'll be back for more. "Back for more" as the title of one of my favourite old school grooves goes. Fortunately I was not only pleased but exceptionally had to return. Staff were lovely and coffee and service great. I'll have to upgrade my marking!!!! Finding a local spot you can go to time and again while knowing you'll get great service, food and drink is fantastic especially in a locality where facilities aren't great. Don't believe me come and try for yourself. Upgrade 2023 I've already expressed how very good its been to find this lovely place. Now I can tell you I'm a regular as despite infrequent visits the staff recognise myself and partner and we certainly don't have to order coffee as our preferred beverages are always swiftly prepared. We do have to take time over pastries and cakes but they are almost as good as the coffee. Do go here if you're in/near Westerham you won't regret it.”
