Margaux
“Great food! Really good experience at Margaux - everything tasted really good! They have a private dining room downstairs too which you can reserve with a three course set menu. Wines were good too. The chocolate bombe dessert was really good. Overall very good!”
Michael Nadra Brasserie & Takeaway Primrose Hill
“Absolutely blown away by this place. From the moment of booking with friendly accommodating service to the COVID-safe experience and amazing food and selection of wines and cocktails. We went for the mixed olives, soft-shell crab tempura, burger and chunky fries and the Sunday roast (sirloin beef) - all cooked to perfection. The stick toffee pudding was to die for. Highly highly recommended.”
Cora Pearl Covent Garden
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cora Pearl for their Sunday roast and it was absolutely divine. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was impeccable. The roast itself was cooked to perfection and the flavors were simply out of this world. The meat was tender and juicy, and the vegetables were perfectly cooked. The gravy was rich and savory, and everything was served in generous portions. But what really made the Sunday roast stand out at Cora Pearl was the side dishes. The roast potatoes were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, the carrots were sweet and caramelized, and the Brussels sprouts were cooked just right - not too soft, not too crunchy. The ham and cheese was my personal favorite because of its unique taste and dip. Overall, the Sunday roast at Cora Pearl was an absolute treat and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying meal. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was top-notch. I will definitely recommend their Sunday roast.”
Chez Elles Bistroquet
“The nice little French place, with a pure Paris atmosphere !!! Very good food, and very peoples in there.. very good welcome… highly recommended !”
Le Café du Marché
“I so wish there was a six star opportunity when something is so outstanding like this restaurant. Everything was amazing and to taste. Although hidden away it is well worth the search. They have 2 or 3 course meal deals or item by item. The wine and champagne that I both had were outstanding selection by the staff. Very romantic and intermittent. One of the place places I have EVER eaten. And they had live music on a Thursday night.”
À la Russe
“Spoke to Andre on booking who was very nice. We were a fairly large family group dining Saturday lunchtime and were looked after very well. The food is of excellent quality and there were lots of tempting options on the Special Menu which was very good value - £16 for two courses. The subtle herbs and flavours made our pork dish a joy and the meat was so tender. The desserts tasted home-made, not cloyingly sweet - good flavours, and the children's' meals were excellent quality and value. Although we are not local, we will definitely return. Thank you for looking after us so well.”
Cépage[s] Wine Bistro
“Everything we had was absolutely delicious and atmosphere was so warm and welcoming. I am a cookery teacher and my friend is a true foodie and we both agreed that the quality of food was amazing. It brought us to an evening in Paris. The only negative is this place is a bit too far from me... Otherwise I would visit every week! Highly recommend.”
Le Petit Citron
“Nice place, food amazing, well presented and tasty. It's likely just the timing, but it would have been nice for some soft background music and a bit more patience for service. Would go back again as overall a pleasant experience.”
La Petite Ferme
“We visited last night for the all-you-can-eat raclette and it was, quite simply, outstanding. Staff are friendly, informative and very helpful - and the restaurant itself has a lovely, cosy vibe. The food was out of this world - delicious cured meats and a great selection of cheeses, alongside a great wine list. The experience felt so authentically french it was easy to imagine you were sitting in a small bistro in the French Alps. We’re already planning our next visit.”
Roux at Skindles
“This has to be one of the Brassiere’s that redefines the genre. Innovative yet wholesome. Fresh produce and yet if you don’t get into their big sister Michelin restaurant you will not be disappointed. Their French Onion Soup is not to be missed.”
Mere
“Our meal was 2 hours of sheer food escapism. From the minute we arrived we were welcomed and felt it.the entire team were incredibly attentive and welcoming, but not overbearing. The food was exceptional, exciting and innovative and for the first time in a longtime my wife and I just basked in the amazing food and ambience. The whole setup was so wonderful the time flew by. The cocktails were incredible too. We were never without anything and we left feeling like we had gotten a bargain. Also Monica walked through the restaurant and said hello after I waved like a dork. Thank you so much.”
Bordelaise
“Had a really lovely meal here to celebrate a birthday. Staff were attentive and kind, the food was delicious and the restaurant is cosy and intimate. Would definitely come here again! Had wine, a starter and shared a big steak with sides and the bill came to around £90. Everything was amazing!”
Augustine Kitchen
“Love this place, will definitely keep coming! Service was attentive and friendly, noise level ideal for a level of ambience without being too noisy. The food is also amazing- classic French style but done in a fresh way. All dishes were also beautifully presented. Definitely recommend this place!”
The Ninth
“Fabulous food and exemplary service. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed. The Ninth has a varied menu of sharing plates. I can definitely recommend the cuttlefish, the truffle pasta, the fried gnocchi, the langoustine ravioli and the pain perdu as dessert.”
Galvin La Chapelle
“We were using a gift voucher, and I was worried that this might mean we received less good service, but I was delighted to find I was wrong. Although reserving a table had been difficult/a hassle, when we eventually went, it was lovely. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the voucher had been logged on their system, so they knew which menu to offer us. Our meal was delicious, and the ambiance was perfect: comfy seats, pretty table decorations, cool air (it was a very hot day!) The washrooms were clean. We were offered still/sparkling water, which was an additional cost to the voucher, but I assume we could have asked for tap water. My only criticism is that my meal included what was described as ‘caramelised potato.’ It was a chewy dried out vegetable of indiscernible type. Definitely did not resemble potato. It was difficult to cut, and strange to eat, a little like eating a courgette which has been dehydrated. The chef might like to rethink that one. The dessert was delicious, a combination of apricot, almond and white chocolate. It also had blobs of white bread—which seemed to serve no purpose. The portions were small, this wouldn’t fill up a hungry diner (though plenty of bread was offered). This is somewhere to savour food and enjoy the experience. Definitely worth a visit.”
JACOBS SINCE 1932 LTD
“The taste of the middle east right in the centre of Kingston. Food here taste heavenly”
Cabotte
“Having been set up by two master sommeliers I was expecting a restaurant with alright food but decent wine. I was wrong! The food at Cabotte is as outstanding as the wine - and the attentive friendly staff make navigating a huge wine list easy and enjoyable. Highly recommended as a place for that special occasion”
Le Bon Cafe
“Came in with a group for a Saturday morning brunch, we were very well looked after. Food and drinks came out quickly and was all very tasty and enjoyed by the group, whether it was a fry up or a Moroccan pancake. Great value too! Thank you to Le Bon Café, looking forwards to returning soon!”
Le Marmiton
“Absolutely lovely intimate restaurant. Went on a Sunday which was the roasts menu. Excellent food, friendly staff and nice (if a little spartan) decor and atmosphere.”
Toulouse Lautrec
“Went for the upstairs jazz club. Great venue, small enough to have a personal experience, but not too crammed. Great band. Nice snacks and wines.”
Frédéric Bistro
“really amazing food and so lovely environment, Gin cocktail is so beautiful. If the table cloth can not be paper will be much lovely, but anyway highly recommended and will go for another time.”
Saint Jacques
“Last week we had a rather belated "Sam Lane Photography Christmas Party" and thankfully chose a warm, dry night to sit outside in the secluded courtyard terrace. We enjoyed some fabulous dishes (starters: scallops, soufflé, foie gras; mains: rib of beef and steak); paired with some amazing wines. And we finished with some delicious desserts - pear tart to share, crême brûlé... A very, very nice evening indeed!”
Seven Park Place by William Drabble
“Absolutely perfect. The ambience was very smart and comfortable, the service and staff were elegant and attentive, and the food was just outstanding. I particularly liked the foie gras and the banana parfait - the parfait reminded of banana fritters I had as a kid. I really loved this restaurant and I will definitely come back again. Thanks so much!”
La Provence
“Excellent place, good price... full English breakfast filled me up for the day. The staff is very helpful”
Bistro Laz
“Three of us had lunch here last week. The chicken skewers and pizzas were all fresh and delicious. Even the chilli sauce was ‘home-made’. Service was warm and friendly. We will go back soon.”
Sasa
“Very good. Tasty and reasonable prices! Will go again, but expect more friendly service.”
El Meson De Los Hermanos
“A cosy, nice restaurant. The menu is not very extensive but everybody, who's into Spanish cuisine, will find something nice for themselves. The food is just lovely! The staff are really friendly and well - mannered. I strongly advise that you pop into this restaurant. It's definitely money and time spent well.”
Cappadocia
“We visited on 11/2/23 Saturday late lunch 14:20 ish. There was a very warm welcome and a choice of seating for us and plenty more. The volume of customers was just right not too many and not empty despite the lateness of the time. I chose the Organic fillet of Salmon. Organic Salmon fillet pan fried in unsalted butter with crushed fresh herbs and white wine (optional), topped with roasted almond flakes served with sautéed spinach and roasted sweet potatoes. I didn’t recognise the sweet potatoes because they were white tasted just as good. It all tasted just as expected and I loved the sauce although I would have liked a little more. The salad had a lot of dressing so I would ask for no dressing next time. As we didn’t order a starter, we were offered some olives to keep us going as all the food is freshly cooked. My husband chose Adana Shoulder of lamb minced, blended with spices and herbs, char-grilled and served on lavash bread with bulgur, salad and sliced red onions. This was tasty but very spicy so he asked for a yogurt dip which made all the difference. (I don’t know it’s proper name). He also ordered chips which arrived (thermally) very hot. My only comment is that the plates could’ve been warm to keep the food warmer for longer. We don’t eat very quickly. The food came in good time. We didn’t have pudding as it was already a late lunch. A lovely complimentary square of sponge, soaked in something delicious like honey, arrived while we were waiting to pay. We had a lovely conversation with the waitress who was from Ukraine, and had been in the country several years. The menu is very extensive and each dish has a picture which is always helpful with such innovative looking food.”
Buenasado Argentine Steakhouse
“What can I say the food is so delicious, my first time in this restaurant and wow the starter got me straight away , then my main omg was so bloody tasty big up the chef the food was cooked perfection , 10 out of 10 brilliant atmosphere lovely clean and the staff are brilliant too will be definitely coming back 100%”
The Ivy Cobham Brasserie
“We have been to The Ivy many times and it’s one of our favourite restaurants around Cobham, Esher and Weybridge. Great customer service and the whole team is always very nice. Fantastic food, well presented and great value too. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.”
