“Celebrated a 92 birthday and it was good! We were a party of over 30 and had our own room. The staff were well organised and Freya looked after us beautifully. Thanks also to her colleague who helped at times. The food and drinks were great and we enjoyed ourselves. A bonus about the location is that it was just next door to Coombe Gardens where we could take photos. Overall, a very good way to celebrate an event. Thanks and great job to the staff. We look forward to returning.”

“My wife moved to Croydon two years ago and use this shop everyday. There is a constant flow of people all day in this store and can get very busy at times, especially lunch time and rush hour. The staff are lovely and they seem to genuinely get Along with each other. They have a reasonable amount of stock and always handy that they are open until 11pm. Thanks to all the staff for their hard work!”

“Staff are helpful and polite; huge range of food (although cannot get 1l bottles of soy sauce here) and you can bring your soft plastic to be recycled. Only downside is the bicycle parking: round the side of the shop which leaves bicycled vulnerable to thieves”

“I was surprised at the lower reviews. I have ordered takeaway lunch twice. First I had iddyuppam, the only slightly negative comment I can make was that aubergine portion was pretty small. Yesterday I ordered chicken kottu rotti and chicken curry, both were super tasty and I'll definitely be returning.”

“I've been going this pub since it was 'The Blacksmiths Arms' , and had my first pint here when I was 15! A carling black label that cost £1.13 . I haven't tried the food but it looks good and they do a good deal as well. And the staff are super friendly and helpful. So a rare 5 stars from me.”

“OK so I love Chinese food so much. Make sure you got the right change I think they take cash only so you have to walk few yards to cash machine.
