The Ambrose Café
“Love the place. Great coffee and shortbread biscuits! Staff very attentive and friendly. It's a pleasure to get a beautiful cup rather than a carboard or plastic one.”
The Morden Arms
“A good house red, great music, friendly clientele and well kept beers earn it the extra star...worth a visit any day of the week”
The Plough
“Lovely friendly staff and the food was excellent. First time we had eaten there and we will certainly be going back.”
T.K.Trading
“A tidy and well organised shop. If you want Japanese food, this is the best in London. Sweets and cakes are also very attractive.”
Odds Farm Park
“Amazing gift shop and play area. The wooden playground is amazing. Especially the boat! My kids loved the huge sand pit with diggers in. I just wished there were a few more animals to see. None were outside, but maybe that was due to it being cold. It would be nice if they had a few others, maybe alpacas, lizards, Meerkats, snakes. Many other farms like this do we have visited lately. It also lacked a tractor ride, which my 2-year-old was asking for. Friendly staff. It looked nice and clean.”
Painshill
“Absolutely gorgeous gardens with a magical feeling. Jazz and a cold drink in the amphitheater looking at the lake beyond the vineyard. Can’t think of a better place to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon”
Old Deer Park Sports Grounds
“Absolutely love visiting this park. The deer have become accustomed to humans being near, great to capture shots, but don't get too close!”
Bourne Hall
“1st time here! Popped in for a gift market / fair. Some good stalls! Upstairs is the Epsom & Ewell museum, very interesting & informative. We'll worth a visit!”
Kindred
“This little (well the basement bar/restaurant is smallish but the rest of the venue combined is over 3 floors and can accommodate over 200ppl) hidden away restaurant under Hammersmith Broadway Station is out of this world! The food is super fantastic and the service is exceptionally excellent (special shout out, to Jessica!) Loved it and will be back very soon!”
Burgh House
“The cafe in the Burgh House Museum is my happy place. Good coffee, cake selection and garden seating (best enjoyed in dry weather)”
Refettorio Felix at St Cuthbert's Centre
“Great place, well maintained and presentable, love the charitable cause supported at the centre.”
Bertie and Boo Adventure Island
“We celebrated my daughter's 5th birthday at Bertie & Boo in Balham yesterday (second year running!). Just as last year, I cannot fault the team on anything - the booking process was easy as pie, the pricing clear, and the staff super friendly both on the phone and in person on the day. The kids had loads of fun during the play session, were delighted with the unicorn-shaped sandwiches and everyone loved the magic show and dance party at the end. It's a very well-oiled machine where everything runs very smoothly and the staff clearly love working with kids. 5 stars - definitely recommend!”
artsdepot
“Regular visitor to the Artsdepot and a big fan given the variety and quality of acts appearing. Really enjoyed the Michael Palin review of his Iraq and N Korea adventures! A venue to recommend if you want intimate theatre in a central location.”
Mainstage Festivals
“We loved our night @thedrivein. The staff were really helpful, finding us a parking space where we could see well and I really appreciated the choice of venue overlooking the sea! The snacks were pricey but I suppose that's to be expected and we did have a bit of an issue with our car battery and had to turn our engine on for the last ten minutes of the film or risk having a flat battery. If the staff had enforced the engines always off rule we would have missed the last bit of the film. The whole experience was great and well organised and it felt very safe with regular cleaning of the portaloos - which were spotless. Will definitely come again.”
Time & Talents Centre
“It was fantastic to support local theatre and acting and it is great to have this available in our area!”
The O2
“The O2 Arena, located in Greenwich, is one of the most iconic entertainment venues in London. As a state-of-the-art arena, it has been the site of countless memorable concerts, sporting events, and other performances. From the moment you step into the O2 Arena, you are met with a stunning atmosphere. The venue has been designed to provide an excellent viewing experience for everyone, regardless of where they are seated. The seating arrangement is quite spacious, allowing for plenty of legroom and comfort, even for those who are seated at the back of the arena. The acoustics of the venue are superb, ensuring that every note, sound, and word is crystal clear, even at the highest volume levels. The lighting is also top-notch, adding to the excitement of the performances and enhancing the overall experience. One of the most impressive things about the O2 Arena is the sheer variety of events that are hosted here. From world-class musical acts and international sporting events to comedy shows and family-friendly performances, the O2 Arena offers something for everyone. The lineup of events is constantly changing, so there is always something new and exciting to look forward to. The facilities at the O2 Arena are also first-class. The venue is clean, well-maintained, and easy to navigate. There are plenty of food and drink options available, as well as numerous restrooms and other amenities. Overall, the O2 Arena in Greenwich is a fantastic venue that should be on every entertainment lover's bucket list. The excellent atmosphere, incredible acoustics, and wide range of events make it a must-visit destination for anyone looking to experience top-quality entertainment in London.”
SAMA Centre - Foundation - مركز سما الثقافي الاجتماعي

Old MacDonald's Farm & Fun Park
“Took my 6 yo kid there, she really enjoyed her time there. There are lots of things to do for the kids, really nice playground, animals to see. We had lunch there too. She really had fun and wants to go again.”
The Orchard Theatre
“A great theatre with good facilities and close, convenient parking. They seem to get a decent share of good shows and prices are reasonable, saves an expensive trip into London. Photos are from Oti Mabuse, I Am Here show”
Kew Little Pigs Farm
“Amazing morning! Loved the farm and meeting all the pigs. They’re so affectionate and happy. Becky and Claire were fab! Definitely be back again. We were in luck and managed to see 5 piglets too! Day made xxx”
Freightliners Farm
“Interesting little city farm. Great place for small kids, and even as an adult it was fun to have a look at the chickens, bunnies, guinea pigs, goats, pigs and cows. One of cows had decided to take a little walk outside of its stable and caused some commotion among the keepers, and a lot of sympathy from the kids :) A good place to spend half an hour away from the surrounding big city vibe and enjoy the view of a farm animal and a cup of tea.”
Over the Rainbow Day Nursery
“Our daughter has been attending Over The Rainbow Nursery for almost a year now. As a qualified social worker who has worked in child protection it was imperative that our daughter was placed in a happy environment where safeguarding is paramount and she would be encouraged to develop. Over The Rainbow have ensured that she settled in well and has a key worker who she felt secure and happy with. We receive regular updates with regards to her progression and it is clear to see that the staff are passionate and caring about the children. Our daughter has been taught so much, from learning to share and take turns to using cutlery to feed herself (all age-appropriate things). Our daughter runs into nursery each week and we are very pleased that she enjoys her time at the nursery. I would wholeheartedly recommend this nursery to anyone considering placing their child in daycare and wanted a secure and happy environment for their child.”
Golden Grill and Fish Bar Bermondsey
“Hidden gem in Bermondsey/Rotherhithe Southwark. Fish & Chips 5* Service 5* Relaxing environment to eat”
Lammas Recreation Ground
“Parking is 50p for 1 hour. Kids splash park open over summer and is fairly clean and not too busy. Tennis courts are nice. Gym stuff available and a big kids playground and a little kids one - equipment is nicely kept. There are kayak rentals, and mini golf. Nice seating by the river and the cafe isn't a complete ripoff but it does have limited veggie options. Toilets I've luckily never been in since I was a kid but I imagine they're as good as you'll get in a public park in this area. Massive green spaces and a straight path in the middle where I learned to ride a bike and now 25+ years later am teaching my son to ride. This park is great.”
Marlborough Park
“Just a great basic park ...love the old oak tree that's fenced off ...good shade at the top of needed and a lovely sunbathed field that's safe for dogs ❤️”
Diggerland Kent
“Absolutely LOVED it. Queues weren't too long. Great staff. It was a lot bigger than I expected and had a lot of different diggers/things to do. Lots of different things for different heights. You need to be a minimum of 90cm to enjoy most of it as you need that for sitting a lap. Solo drivers is mostly from 110cm so be aware of the height of your child before you go. One baby change available in the main building but there's two toilets (main building and restaurant). Restaurant has ok food, but it's quick service. I'd definitely come back again. A lovely day out for young and old.”
M.A Local Supermarket
“Wonderfull customer service just really friendly staff and reasonable prices”
The White Bear
“First time here and we were really impressed. A great menu with some unusual options and a lot of variety. The portion sizes were very generous and everything we ordered tasted great. They also had Mogo which you usually only find in authentic Indian cuisine.”
The Falcon Inn
“Perfic my daughter runs it, how's your lucky unfortunately no chef at moment so people can bring in any takeaway they want along as they buy drinks”
