“This is one of the best Haitian Food restaurants I have been to anywhere including in Haiti. PERIOD! The beautiful dinning room and bar really set the stage for what is to come. The drinks are excellent and top quality (try the rhum punch or the 15-year Barbancourt). The Haitian cuisine and presentation offered here is beyond amazing and beyond delectable. It should also be said the Anglophone Caribbean dishes on the menu are also very delicious. I have been here 4 times in the last two weeks and the wait staff has always been kind and responsive. Don't miss London's only and BEST Haitian Restaurant!”

“I have been coming here 3 or 4 times a week since it opened in 2017 and the coffee is absolutely perfect. Service is exceptional and they never miss a beat, even at busy times. I have been a regular at this cafe, through a couple of previous incarnations, since the late 90's when it was also exceptional. “What a meal! This place is an absolute gem. Super friendly service from everyone, wonderful fresh and tasty food. The breakfast menu was fantastic. “Delicious food, some of the tastiest Ethiopian food I’ve had in London. I had the Awaze Tibs. Really buttery & yummy. I tried the Tej (honey wine) which was fermented and authentic too. Friendly service with a home cooked, welcoming feel.”

“Delicious Somali food! My friend brought me here and it was the best restaurant meal I had during the trip. We had a soup, then a platter of chicken and beef served on perfectly cooked rice. Accompanied by salad and a super fresh and spicy sauce, let’s not forget the banana. We wanted to try also the date cake, but it wasn’t available anymore, lucky us I guess because we were already stuffed. Now I want to try their other dishes.”

“The toasties are fantastic, the cakes are sweet, the staff are lovely, and they make delicious coffee. Usually I think there are comfy sofas but during these Covid times it's just standard tables and chairs but they're comfy enough. It's a lovely place to stop for a coffee and bite to eat if you're in the town centre. Oh, and if you like jacket potatoes, theirs are HUGE!”

“Stumbled across this place while I was working. Proper down to earth food, no frills, but very good prices. Staff polite and friendly. Garden out the front to eat your food if you want. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely be making a return visit.”

“I've just visited this wonderful cafe. I only wanted a milkshake which was good. However having sat here for the last 15 mins watching the world go by I can see how much passion and love the employee/owner have for this place. Almost every customer that's walked in the door after me has been greeted by name and order known. It's very easy these days to find a reason to complain but I have none and I'll be visiting again next time I'm around the area.”

“This restaurant really is our little ray of sunshine. My partner and I have returned to this restaurant over the years when we crave a 'naughty yet comforting' Sunday brunch. We order the same every time; Super breakfast, Lavazza coffee and a banana milkshake. The super breakfast is not for the faint hearted! We often just eat this meal only that day and in terms of value for money, quality and your traditional builder's cafe food, we love it. The homemade bubble and squeak is my favourite part. The milkshakes are thick and delicious. Their attentiveness to their customers is fabulous. The regular staff recognise us and recite our order every time. It makes us smile as honestly we are not there all the time! I would advise eating in rather then delivery. The service is quick and it tastes so much better freshly hot.”

“Went over the weekend for brunch. 1st time here even though I don't live too far from it. I very rarely give 5 star reviews, but this place just ticks all the boxes. Food is tasty and well presented, good choice of hot and cold drinks, and the flat white was probably the best I've ever had, so smooth and creamy. The owner came around to our table asking if everything was Ok, and she was quite friendly. A very good find despite the building it's in being covered with scaffolding”
