“Lovely swimming school with excellent teachers. They take great care in ensuring children are happy and comfortable in the water before teaching them excellent technique in each of the four main strokes. The classes are a good size, allowing for individualised instructions where required and as they progress the children gain stamina, speed and confidence. They also provide feedback and updates on children's progress, moving them up levels when they need to or identifying areas in which they could improve. A great swim school that we'd highly recommend.”

“Why did I choose the International Swimming Academy? It all started when I visited my friend and I saw all her little daughters swimming like a dolphins! I was really impressed by ISA system and at that time I was only pregnant, but I knew I wanted the same for Pernille :) My Daughter started her lessons when she was 9 months old with just a trial lesson... and since then I saw how important is for your child to start early so they get confidence and get used to water. My daughter is now almost 2 years, and this is the best decision I made. I see how she improves every week, she enjoys every second of her lessons. She loves the environment, every teacher which are all wonderful! So really I can’t recommend them highly enough. Communication and management from the whole team, is perfect.”

As she is nearly 4 years old, it was her first time having proper lessons and having her head under the water. She didn’t like it at first but Chloe gave her enough confidence by the end of the week to do it. “I am a professional nanny and have been taking children to Dolphins swim school for many years, including my own son. The instructors are fantastic and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. They allow make up classes for missed sessions due to illness etc, which is amazing. The changing rooms are well equipped and clean, and the soft play area is a nice bonus. Highly recommended!”

“I cannot speak too highly of Swimming Lessons London’s teaching techniques and teacher Theo in particular. I was past retirement age when I decided that I must overcome my long held fear of the water, and it was only a matter of a few lessons with Theo before I began to gain confidence. Theo was incredibly patient, helpful and encouraging and systematically worked on improving my capability, technique and stamina. It all goes to show that it’s never too late to start, no matter how old you are. Highly recommended for everyone.”

“I’d been contemplating swimming lessons for years and felt so nervous going into it but I’m so glad I took the plunge (pun intended). Lisa made me feel instantly at ease with her friendly manner and in less than 10 weeks I was already able to swim multiple lengths, something I never thought I’d be able to do. In my opinion I think this is an ideal place to learn to swim as an adult, being in hotels the swimming pools are already a really nice environment to be in and I would go in the evenings or weekends and the pools were always really quiet. The learn to swim programme is great too, the approach is simple all the steps are really methodical, not at all overwhelming and Lisa always took the time to explain why I had to do certain things i.e. to make the swim more efficient, not breathe in water etc. And honestly, it was so much fun! Couldn’t recommend Lisa and Turner Swim more.”

“Great facilities, and very appropriate for children. My 4.5-year-old is enjoying his swimming lessons a lot, and keeps asking when the next lesson will be. The teachers are patient and are fully aware of the different capabilities of the age groups they are working with. All in all, a fantastic experience, and I look forward to my kid continuing there in terms to come.”

“Blue Wave Swim has been brilliant with my three children. The teachers are kind and make swimming fun, but also experienced and coaxed my reluctant 3 year old into the water no problem- after the first lesson he now loves going swimming! All of my children are at different stages but they are all growing into really strong, confident swimmers. The facilities at Wimbledon College are convenient and you can watch them easily.”

“Beautiful lake and wonderful people, water is clean and fresh. There is a little beach for entry and a small food and drink stall. Toilets and small changing room are available indoors and there is an out door shower to rinse off.”

“Really great way to spend a summer day. Easy to book but accepting walk ins (at least in the morning). It gets pretty crowded but not unmanageable. You need to put your towel on the ground that is concrete but the pool is not overcrowded. Remember to take 1 pound for the lockers (retrievable). They have a cafe that serves coffee, drinks and food through the day. If you book morning you can stay practically the whole day. There is enough place decaded for both free swimming and the professional swimming. Highly recommend!”

“Love this heated outdoor pool. They use a different water treatment to chlorine so it’s kinder in your eyes. Very old fashioned, no lockers, but wire baskets for your clothes, like it! Have swimming stuff for sale and a gym, tennis courts, free parking and good value!”

“Really peaceful place to take children as when I went on a Saturday there were only about 5 others in the pool! The changing rooms were spacious and the pool was nice and warm. They even had some toys for my grand daugter to play with”

“Attended a child's birthday party event here. Was thoroughly impressed with the swimming pool, good size, clean, warm temperature, lots of floats and things for the kids to play with, excellent safety and a nice little room on the side where they cut the cake and had a little party. Overall really impressed. Oh and the grounds for the school are lovely too! Easy parking available as well.”

“In just half a term our 4 year old daughter has developed her confidence, strength and endurance in swimming. The teachers are fantastic and the content and pace of lessons exceptional. As soon as her weekly lesson finishes, my daughter counts down the days until her next lesson. We whole heartedly recommend seriously fun swimming to all!”

“As a resident of DGV I have membership of the spa. I have had regular use of the pool for the past ten years. Wonderful staff, courteous and friendly. I have had mobility problems for 4 years and use the changing room for the disabled. They care for me as necessary. It is a very clean and well kept spa. Congratulations!”

“I really like this gym. Friendly staff and great space. I give it 5 stars and would like to see the following improvements made. -Take out the rusted lockers in the men's lockeroom by the shower and use that space more effectively -Rehabilitate the hot tub -one or two Weight Plate Trees because the machines smaller plates seem to disappear and get scattered. Highly recommend their gyms though. Great experiences so far.”

Spa facilities are of a high standard with a good sized pool and steam room, excellent changing rooms too. We were very impressed by the room, quite a big size for a hotel and nice to have a bath and shower. We would recommend a stay here, new year was wonderful to welcome in here.”
