“We have been to moxie's a number of times over the last 6 months and have enjoyed the food every time. The service is friendly and excellent too. We have tried the fried cod, fried hake and the grilled sea bream which are all highly recommended. Portions are generous and I would say that one portion of chips is probably enough to share between two. Definitely buy the homemade tartare sauce which is well worth the 50p that it is charged. If you are going I would definitely try the sea bream and ask them what the catch if the day is (usually £7.50 at lunch).”

“Came along in the lunch time rush 5th Nov 2022. I ordered in advance via the phone. The food was fresh hot and well flavoured. My Order was to take away when I got home my food was still hot. For £26 three adults ate and a small child so value for money was good. Will I return and have some more yes I will well done.”

“I was there yesterday at a lunch party for my uncle and Aunt’s Diamond Wedding Anniversary. The food and the service was really wonderful and a credit to the Haven. The food was beautifully presented and served hot. The room was elegantly decorated for 25 guests seated at a long table. Nothing was too much for the staff, I was so impressed. With everything thank you so much for making it such a special day.”

“I booked to take our team to Kelsey House bar & Kitchen for our Christmas social. We had the Christmas Buffet menu and it was delicious. I rate the whole experience from booking, ordering, service and food a 5 star. The waitresses were brilliant and friendly and the Christmas buffet menu was a great experience as each person could take what they wanted and every single main and side we chose was really nice. We all enjoyed it very much and we even got crackers on our table to start our social off with a great feel to it. Thank you very much to the whole team at Kelsey House Bar & Kitchen. “Lovely vibrant place with friendly waiters and good food. I went on an open mike day where people went to sing with the band. Really fantastic experience. The people who went up to sing were incredibly professional and many did their own version of cover songs. Book your seats as it became crowded very quickly.”

“Very good sushi in elegant, yet cosy, settings. The tuna tartare presentation and balance of flavours were up to the level of a Michelin star restaurant and the maki were flavoursome and fresh. We were really impressed by the homemade ice-cream with a selection of unusual flavours including miso and sesame. The staff is extremely welcoming, offering exceptional customer service. “I came here as part of a business group for dinner yesterday evening. Firstly, WOW!! What a wonderful restaurant. Beautiful, cosy, intimate venue. We were greeted with a glass of gorgeous Prosecco and seated in comfy chairs. Mood lighting made the place feel so special. Then..the food!! Oh, my!! Platter after platter of the most delicious starters were brought to the table. My personal highlight was the platter of buratta, mixed Italian salamis/prosciutto and tomatoes. I have eaten many buratta in my time but this was beyond-words-delicious. Same with my tuna steak:.never tasted anything like it to this standard. The ‘table wine’ was far beyond anything you would get in a standard Italian in London. It was so smooth..needless to say, many a refill was requested haha!! The two-man staff were efficient, super-attentive and nothing was too much trouble. I can’t recommend Chelsea Cellar enough. Belissimo!!”

“Decent bar, came here on the recommendation that it is the best Irish bar that isn’t in Ireland! Didn’t disappoint. Bit tight for space and the outdoor area closes kinda early and you’re just expected to find somewhere to stand in the tiny indoor area. Pints were great!”
