Panas Twickenham
● Open“What a wonderful place to eat. Service top notch and the food waves of spicy flavour. To start they brought out a complementary appetiser that was a crispy ball filled with herbs and you then pour in a small glass of tamarind liquid and pop the whole thing in your mouth. Wow! What a fantastic little experience! Then I had the chilli garlic mushrooms. Once you squeeze the lime over it the dish comes alive. Great flavours. For the main I went with the Chicken Khukuri with a garlic naan. Again a great choice. And as a final last nice touch they bring your hot towel out on a purpose built serving plate and add the hot water to it at the table. Great food, great service, great experience.”

It was my very first visit to the restaurant and I am happy to say that this place is now at the top of my favourites list. Delicious food, beautiful place and I can't fault the customer service, staff can't do enough and Lilideth is just amazing. I think it definitely deserves five stars!”

Eel Pie Pub & Restaurant, Twickenham
● Open“Went to this pub on a rugby day it was very busy, but it had great atmosphere. The bar staff were very quick and efficient and used to deal with all this well. We stayed in the little court yard garden at the back as we had someone who likes to vape. The garden can be accessed directly via a side alley very useful for disabled customers. A good pub, busy but lots of fun.”

Sushi Point - Twickenham
● Closed“Excellent aromatic flavours that taste authentic. This is no cheap imitation - it’s the real deal. The food fresh and of a high grade. Even after I left, the mesmerising taste taste stayed in my mouth. I definitely will be buying from there again. The premises are very clean and attractive. Something that is always reassuring in the food trade. I’m very fussy where I eat and found the food to be easy on my sensitive stomach.”

Vesuvio Italian Restaurant
● Open208 Hampton Road, Vesuvio, Twickenham TW2 5NJ, United Kingdom“Vesuvio's did not disappoint us for our Valentines meal. Great portion sizes and excellent friendly service with a smile. I had the bruschetta to start which was so good, the balance of the garlic and dressing with the sharpness of the tomatoes was perfect. For mains I wanted the seafood risotto which wasn't on the special valentines menu but they were so accommodating and said they would give me it anyway and it was delicious. Perfectly cooked and perfectly emulsified making it decadent and creamy also very generous with the seafood. For dessert I had Tiramisu, again proper nice and creamy. Lovely soft biscuits soaked in coffee that tasted so clean, cold and fresh. We will be coming back 100% Keep it up Vesuvio's you're doing such a good job at creating an amazing, relaxing atmosphere.”

La Piazza
● Open“This place is Magical! It is absolute perfection, the food, the amibiance, and Rubik's beautiful hospitality make you feel like you're coming home after years away. It's the kind of place where you think you'll just pop in for a quick drink or a bite, and the next thing you know you've made new friends, laughed with old ones and realized you never want to leave. And the food, "This is so good I could cry" was said many times! Cheers to Rubik, this might just be one of my favorite dining experiences of all times!”

Majestic Wine
● Closed“Nice wine, helpful service. The team here are really helpful. I had help finding the wine I was looking for. I was given a sheet with tasting notes for all the wines i bought and my wine was carried to the car for me. There were a number of wines open to try. Although I didn't like any of them as they were all old world. Suggestion for improvement - perhaps wider variety of wine available to taste ( new and old world).”
-
Da Alfredo Italian Restaurant
● Closed“Amazing dining experience and splendid service! We ordered risotto pollo e fungi (chicken and mushroom risotto) and tagliatelle gamberi e aspargi (fettucine with prawns and asparagus) and they were absolutely nothing like we tasted before. Both were scrumptious and cooked to the right texture. Comfort food at its best! I recommend adding the red-pepper-infused olive oil while savouring their cuisines. The server/host Luca was especially friendly. He helped us with sprinkling cheese powder and pepper, then upon settling our bill, offered us complimentary Limoncello which tasted really delicate. If you’re ever in Twickenham, this is the place to check out for a cosy and warm dining experience.”
-
Il Gusto
● Closed“Love this local restaurant! The service is amazing. You’re always greeted with a warm, happy and helpful welcome. The food is delicious. Made fresh to order and arrives quickly. It’s so nice to be able to go and eat in again but the takeaway service they provided in lockdown was fabulous! I also love a takeaway coffee when working from home. Couldn’t ask for a better restaurant right at the end of my road!”

A Cena
● Closed“A gorgeous, warm, vibrant, romantic, welcoming, charming restaurant. I visited on Saturday 29th October 2022 for lunch, for two. The menu appeals from top to bottom, the service is friendly, attentive and what really appealed was the recommendation for a wine so perfect for lunch, there was no way I'd have chosen so well. Overall, this is a fabulous place for lunch and I reckon even better for dinner......which I'm looking forward to finding out :)”
-
Folded Pizza
● Closed“Squares of thin-base sourdough pizza with varying toppings - including a vegan option - for £4.50, served 'Folded' like a wrap. It's easy to confuse this with a Calzone (traditional folded pizza), but that's more like a pasty in appearance. Really tasty crust - thin, chewy and crispy at the same time. The salami was plentiful and great quality. For the price, it's a convenient way to get top quality pizza on the go. Cheap priced coffee drinks are available - the cappuccino (£2.80) was edible without being remarkable in any way. Well worth checking out this place - I think it'll be very successful. Edit - I'm very frustrated that this place offers no way to tip the staff; z even Starbucks has a tips jar, which offers them a way to supplement their low wages. The owner could do this with minimal effort, and it would make a big difference to them. I hope he reads this and takes appropriate action.”
-
Greek Cook & Grill
● Open“This restaurant had the best food; it was delicious and the service was fast. We were treated with a better attitude and were also asked whether we enjoy the food and if there are any problems being faced, they can help us and solve it in a positive manner and attitude.”
-
The Crown
● Open“I have been to the Crown for casual evening drinks while sitting outside in their nice garden a couple of times but never been there for lunchtime or dinner. I finally had a chance to book a table (advisable because I tried to turn up in a couple of occasions and they were always full) and had a fantastic dining experience! Food was fresh, tasty and presented beautifully, with great staff and excellent beer and wine selection. I am looking forward to going back”
