“We had my father-in- laws wake here on the 1st July. We had a private room that we could use and where the food was laid out. The food was lovely, everyone commented on the variety. Would definitely recommend.”

The locals were very friendly too and the pub had a great atmosphere. Highly recommend this pub, especially for families as they were great with kids too. “If I could rate 10 stars, I would and that's mainly because of our server, Catherine. From the moment we sat down, she was friendly, attentive, and couldn't be more helpful. We took my 94 year old Grandmother for lunch and was joined by my auntie who was celebrating her birthday. Catherine noticed this and arranged a lovely birthday dessert for her. The whole afternoon was perfect. The restaurant is stunning and the food was incredible. We will definitely be back.”

“One of the oldest Pubs in Dartford and Tbh the best one. A good bunch of requlars and very friendly bar staff. It is always kept clean and tidy and has a great selection of beers wines and spirits. Can be quite busy on weekends. Definitely a place I would recommend to anyone”

“Staff are really friendly and the food is great. Beer garden is excellent in the summer. The location, right by the mill and the river just adds to the quaint vibe. The iconic bridge which is at least 500 years old really adds to the character of Farningham. This pub is amazing for families and we often take our kids who enjoy being outdoors. We go out of our way to visit this pub on our way home from other works because it's one of the best in the area”

“Such amazing food, kebabs are always cooked to perfection, their somosas are fantastic, their fish and chips are superb. Customer service is brilliant too, very friendly and just great to go to. Definitely my go to for fish and chips and kebabs. They even do battered Mars bars!”
