“A decent stay. Very clean and well appointed rooms. Noise in the corridors was a pain and the lack of parking could also be difficult. But the reception staff are fabulous. Really nice to talk to someone who is knowledgeable and wants to help.”

“Stayed here for a funeral. We had travelled from Devon. The location was great, staff friendly and helpful. The only thing I did find was a stain on the bed runner and cobwebs in several places in the room. It is attached to a lovely pub where we went in the evening for a couple of drinks.”

Bea has been cutting my hair for many years and I love it every time, he always takes his time to make sure I am happy with my haircut and hair colour. “A lovely quaint place with a nice forest and plenty of pleasant walks to go on. In the hills there are a multitude of bike tracks to explore and there is easy road access and some parking.the green is sometimes used for cricket so do be careful where you are wandering. Overall a well kept place with stunning views and a few lovely lakes to compliment it. Unfortunately there are not any toilets on site but garsons farm ( just down the road) has some”

“We had my mum's wake at the Weir. My mum had lived in Walton near the Thames for most of her life and it seemed appropriate. I am so pleased we chose the Weir, the staff were excellent, very organised and attentive. I was very impressed, buffet was excellent and it made a difficult occasion much easier.
