"Lovely retirement village. It has all your needs, church, shops, community hall, swimming pool. Entertainment. Very relaxing place."
"A warm, friendly atmosphere awaits. I believe there are themed evenings in the month so check in advance. Everyone in our small group ordered fish and chips. They can only cook these in batches of 4/5, which we didn't mind waiting for. The bar looked well stocked. Plenty of seating."
"this is a wonderful little social club and Cafe where the staff are attentive and caring an the food is exceptionally tasty and good value for Money. The kitchen ladies are amazing and very kind and helpfully..nothing is a bother ..as is the manageress and bar staff. Sorry I only know one name ..Dino..who is wonderful..perhaps name badges ladies?.. look forward to my next visit.."
"I volunteer here delivering the on site cooked lunches to the elderly every Wednesday. I look forward to visiting as the clients and staff here are very friendly."
"Lovely little social club, nestled in Whitley village. Stopped for a drink after volunteering there and prices were really reasonable and had a lovely view of the gardens. Little play area for the kids to play as well, will be coming back with the little one. 2 beers and a coke came to under £9! Nice community to support by visiting as well."
