Smartly designed en-suite room, very clean and comfortable. Super fast Internet (quicker than in my own home). I will definitely be staying again - great location for us to get around London. Treehouse Hotel London
● Open“My sister was staying here on business and we went to check into the hotel. The details this hotel has paid attention to is unreal. Each room is tastefully decorated and the people who work there are exceptionally attentive. There are free sweets and flavoured water at reception and the hotel smells incredible everywhere you go. The views from the room are stunning and I love the idea of window seats. You can have your coffee to go ready for the morning and their rooftop bar has stunning views also. There are mini cuckoo clocks in the room, organic bedsheets and comfy pillows. I would love to stay here in the future with my partner.”

King's College London
● Open“King's has five campuses: its historic Strand Campus in central London, three other Thames-side campuses (Guy's, St Thomas' and Waterloo) nearby and one in Denmark Hill in south London. It also has a presence in Shrivenham, Oxfordshire, for its professional military education, and another in Newquay, Cornwall, where its information service centre is based. In 2020/21, King's had a total income of £1 billion, of which £188.0 million was from research grants and contracts.[3] It has the fourth largest endowment of any university in the United Kingdom, and the largest of any in London. It is the 12th largest university in the United Kingdom by total enrolment.[5] Its academic activities are organised into nine faculties, which are subdivided into numerous departments, centres, and research divisions. King's is a member of academic organisations including the Association of Commonwealth Universities, the European University Association, and the Russell Group. King's is home to six Medical Research Council centres and is a founding member of the King's Health Partners academic health sciences centre, Francis Crick Institute and MedCity. It is the largest European centre for graduate and post-graduate medical teaching and biomedical research, by number of students,[12] and includes the world's first nursing school, the Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery.[13] King's is generally regarded as part of the "golden triangle" of universities located in the cities of Oxford, Cambridge and London.[14] King's has often had royal patronage by virtue of its foundation, with the late Queen Elizabeth II having been patron.[15] King's alumni and staff include 14 Nobel laureates; contributors to the discovery of DNA structure, Hepatitis C, the Hepatitis D genome, and the Higgs boson; pioneers of in-vitro fertilisation, stem cell/mammal cloning and the modern hospice movement; and key researchers advancing radar, radio, television and mobile phones. Alumni also include heads of states, governments and intergovernmental organisations; nineteen members of the current House of Commons and seventeen members of the current House of Lords; and the recipients of three Oscars, three Grammys and one Emmy.”

Dark Arts Coffee
● Closed“Great food as usual. Weekend brunch menu from my last visit was different to the weekday’s lunch menu (this review). The weekend brunch is always busy and the favourites get sold out quick if you don’t get there early. Was abit skeptical about the lunch menu at first but had the Nduja quesadilla and it was delicious. The flat white with oat milk was smooth and excellent. Not quite sure about the heavy background music but it is called ‘dark arts’ after all.”

The lack of fresh popcorn is a bummer but the extensive bar and cafe make up for it. Would definitely recommend.”

Theatre Royal Haymarket
● Open“I really recommend the only fools and horses musical. Loved it and for some of the jokes you don't have to watch the show. So if you fancy a great theatre show but don't watch only fools and horses still go it is excellent. I have seen some people complain about legroom but where I was sat I had just enough room to move about and I was fine (I'm 6ft 2 so if you are smaller than that you will be perfectly fine, of course it depends on where you sit) Stunning theatre and you really do feel the history of the place. Which really made the show feel the little more special. The show, staff and location were all great.”

The Criterion Theatre
● Open“The theatre is gorgeous and typical Victorian theatre. It's underground so steps down to all levels. It's quite small theatre compared to some others. We went to see 2:22 with Tom Felton and Mandip Gill. For a change the tickets weren't overpriced so we were in stalls row B. Super close up for Tom! All 4 main actors were fab! Totally loved it - no story spoilers. Highly recommend you go see this!”

F.Hinds the Jewellers

We were impressed with the range of earrings even though there weren’t as many as other shops. We are able to return in 6 weeks to have the piercing checked which I thought was also very thorough. Thanks - we will definitely recommend this shop to friends and family. Great value too!”
