“Went to this amazing restaurant in the neighbourhood. I always prefer to eat meat but this time this vegetarian restaurant served the purpose very well. I ordered Aloo Piyaz thali with sweet lassi and everything was on point. The kind lady from staff was very helpful. Ambience was great with good choice of punjabi music. Overall a very pleasant experience. 9/10 Definitely going back very soon”

“Beautiful decor, friendly service, I tried the empire burger just so I could taste the doner too! The meat was lovely and lean, family enjoyed the doner also tried cheese burgers which were very similar to McDonald’s taste! Staff explained the history of the Ottoman Empire which was very interesting. I pray for their success and recommend you try their doner the taste was amazing!”

“Local sushi place that always delivers on quality and taste. We stick to the sushi plus the Katsu. The sushi is great value and very tasty. Gotta say it’s never let us down. Once in a while the presentation isn’t quite on point but the flavours always are. My only squibble. Chop the ginger otherwise you’re making me do the work. Love this place!”

Once food arrived on the table we were pleasantly surprised with the way they have presented the food, every item and ingredients was thoughtfully added. Food was tasty and we all loved it, customer service is 10/10. They go beyond to take care of customers need. I liked the atmosphere. “Had great service here. For a Turkish spot with great competition within 1 mile, the food is prices extremely decent! So many complimentary goods including salads, sauces, breads, turkish tea etc. We did not get turkish tea but we know that would have been amazing just like the rest! First time trying a cheesy hummus, absolutely amazing! Very unique flavour and very filling. Beead was freshly served and steamed up. Salad was to die for. I feel like some turkish places can get salad wrong even though it is very simple. The rice and bulgar (you can do half and half) was sooo moist and buttery! The donner itself was pretty standard. However the lamacun was the cherry on top. Service was A1++++++++. They were very attentive. Super fast and thats why we tipped voluntarily. Thank you guys.”

“We went out with 4 families to this restaurant, and our original impression was that it was too small. However, the waiter there was very kind and added the tables there for all 14 of us. The atmosphere was really nice as there was a speaker blasting music through the room and don't get me started on the food. It was cooked to perfection, and I think I had more food this meal than in my entire life. The biryanis and currys were scrumptious, and I had no words to explain how happy and pleasantly surprised all of us were. The waiter also gave us lots of complimentary dishes, which were also amazing. Compared to most restaurants the food was a reasonable price too. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone who wants authentic and unique tasting food from India.”

We forgot to book in advance (as they get very busy on weekends - make sure you book if you want to go!), but they still very kindly accommodated us. We were extremely impressed - The food was all excellent, all delicious and properly cooked, arrived quickly. Service was amazing too, waiters and management were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was good. A lot of families, parents with infants and groups of friends. Bathroom was very clean, well-equipped and the decor is up to date as well. Would definitely recommend this restaurant, I'll be coming again!”

“Don't go to many places on their opening week due to my thinking it will be too busy and I hate waiting for a table. However Ive seen this place get refurbished for a few weeks and the inside deco just was eye catching, so thought I had to visit this place. Went on the 3rd day of opening and was full house but luckily we got a table straight away. Due to the business there was a wait to get the order In and for the food to come out but I must admit it was worth it. Firstly the deco of this place is one of the best I've seen, so unique and elegant, was told by the owner the wall deco was painted all by hand. Food wise now managed to try a large variety of the menu as there were 7 of us eating so tried a bit from everyone and overall would give it 4 out of 5 stars, high quality ingredients were used, flavourful however felt the presentation could have been more wow factor to match then deco, hence the 4 stars but overall for everything definitely 5 stars. Management was amazing also as they weren't serving a dessert menu during opening week but the owner went back and made us an exclusive dessert just for us as we were the last table. For Thai food in East London I would say this is the place to go.”

“Perfect Cooked Buffet Chips, Smosa, Chicken Wings, Chicken Tikka, Chicken Kebab, Fish Pakora, Chicken Baryani, Tarka daal, Mix Vegetables Curry, Chicken Jalfrezi, Mutton Curry, Haleem and Naan. In Chinese food Chilli Chicken, Spaghetti, Egg Fried Rice were available. In sweet dishes, sweet rice, Kheer, Sawaiyaan and children favorite red gelly was there which my children liked alot. Separate salad bar available. We visited with our cousins from Leeds, England. All dishes were well cooked and lazier, children under 10 half price, very happy with everything. Nice staff members. If you want well cooked food then visit Al-Qasr. Al-Qasr meets health & safety standards, we saw a point on entrance for hand gel etc. Good gap in tables.”

“Had a great time here with a few friends. Exceptional service, good music and very competitive prices. They have healthy food portions and fancy plates. The restaurant is usually busy on Friday (and I understand on weekends too), so best to reserve a table to guarantee a seat! Was looked after my Nikki who provided an excellent service. One area of improvement is the waiting time for the meal to come out. I guess with the great music in the background, you might not notice you've been waiting half an hour for your food to turn up! Well done guys. Five star treatment.”

Location - 2 minutes walk from Gants Hill Tube station (Central line), parking space in near by street is free after 6.30pm. Reservation - We booked the table in advance to avoid any delays. Customer service - The member of staff is good, they welcome us, and throughout the time they were excellent.”

“The Chapli kebab was very good but very pricey. £6.50 for 1. The saag ghost was lamb against tasty food although the lamb could have been tender. The roast chicken was 5 star. . Service was good and restaurant is clean.”
