Boxwallah
“Incredible flavour, incredible value! Boxwallah has become an absolute favourite in our house, we love the interesting and fresh take on the classic Indian take-away dishes”
Great Indian Food
“Exactly as the name. Absolutely delicious Tarka daal. So happy there's something local. Great customer service upon arrival to order my takeaway, from the owner himself. Definitely revisiting soon.”
Calm Indian Cow
“I bumped into this stall at covent garden a few days ago, and I was absolutely amazed by their “naan sense set”! I chose mix and match of chicken & paneer, and IT MADE MY DAY. This is one of the best dishes I ever had in London. The chicken was tender and flavorful, the curry even had joyful crispy texture, well matched with the sweetness of pomegranate. The set comes with saffron rice, naan, and vegetables. And it costed only £10! I’m sure I’ll come back often. The owner was super nice too! My favorite!”
Sabras
“Did the catering for my engagement. Everybody loved the food and the service was great. The garam monthar is out of this world. I ate it for 4 days straight after the event. The bateta nu saak and undhiyo received many compliments. The daar was perfect in terms of the consistency and flavour.”
Evelyn's Table
“Food journey across a delicious tasting menu - 1st time @ Evelyn‘s Table. Would recommend my best friends (Y/N: YES! Setup: Party of two, at a fully booked 12-Seat counter restaurant. We would have preferred a little bit more space - but it was sufficient. The vibe is „low key“ with dimmed lights and classy decoration. Menu: We opted for one vegetarian and one pescatarian version of the menu. Both convinced, however, the vegetarian lacked some alternatives and instead had elements removed Food: The food tasted fantastic - quality ingredients executed with a innovative twist and great versatility of flavours - to be expected at £120 a head. Service and drinks Did not disappoint, however, drinks felt pricy even for a Michelin star restaurant. Details below: When: Nov 22 Party size: 2 Atmosphere: 8/10 Service: 8.0/10 Food: 8.5/10 Drinks: 7/10 Value for price: 7.5/10 Favourite: Daikon Mini-Burger and Celeriac with blackberries and chocolate dust Disappointed: no disappointments”
Rayu Pan Asian
“What an amazing restaurant with outstanding service and great food . I wasn’t entirely satisfied with one item and they sent another completely to my satisfaction without complaint and without any request on my part. I was blown away! They take their service standards seriously! Try this restaurant . You won’t be disappointed !”
Grato
“Found this little gem tucked next to Kensington Garden Park. Incredible atmosphere, hospitality, and most of all the food. The owners and staff were great and made sure I did note need for nothing. I ordered the homemade Tagliolini Brixham Crab. Very good flavor and portion. A most visit if you are in London.”
The Chelsea Cellar
“I came here as part of a business group for dinner yesterday evening. Firstly, WOW!! What a wonderful restaurant. Beautiful, cosy, intimate venue. We were greeted with a glass of gorgeous Prosecco and seated in comfy chairs. Mood lighting made the place feel so special. Then..the food!! Oh, my!! Platter after platter of the most delicious starters were brought to the table. My personal highlight was the platter of buratta, mixed Italian salamis/prosciutto and tomatoes. I have eaten many buratta in my time but this was beyond-words-delicious. Same with my tuna steak:.never tasted anything like it to this standard. The ‘table wine’ was far beyond anything you would get in a standard Italian in London. It was so smooth..needless to say, many a refill was requested haha!! The two-man staff were efficient, super-attentive and nothing was too much trouble. I can’t recommend Chelsea Cellar enough. Belissimo!!”
Plant Club - Gluten free, Vegan & Vegetarian Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria
“Absolutely delicious. My friend is coeliac and often doesn’t get to eat out because of cross-contamination but this place is totally safe and totally amazing, even for lovers of gluten like myself! We ordered lots of items to share between six people, including the truffled gnocchi, etna pizza, truffled mushroom pizza, panacotta and dessert pizza with pistachio crème. It was all so good. Honestly, words and photos cannot describe… just please go and try for yourself!”
La Follia Italian restaurant trattoria
“If you love truffles this is the place to be... Lovely restaurant with authentic Italian dishes... The truffle dishes are a must try worth lots of truffles grated over to get the full appreciation of its flavours, as well as the cotoletta alla milanese - a veal breaded cutlet, fried in butter (due to its shape, it is often called oreggia d'elefant in Milanese or orecchia d'elefante in Italian, meaning elephant's ear!)... With the lovely staff as well, this is well worth a visit!!!...”
St. Leonard's
“A delightful stay in St Leonards, started with a warm welcome check in. The room tastefully decorated had everything you needed, with additional touches of cookies and amenities. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the morning breakfast deliciously tasty. Would recommend and look forward to returning.”
MXO
“AMENDED Shoutout to the staff who work at MXO! They went above and beyond for my dining experience with my cousin. Apologies in not remembering your names, when they were fresh in my mind. However, the food was TOP NOTCH, as also the cocktail drinks too. The only suggestion I will have to make is your 24 Hour Poussin. I don’t know if mine was 24 hours ready or not? The marination didn’t penetrate the white meat. I look forward to trying your Seabass main, as you was sold out of it at the time. Thank you so much for the conversation, service and complimentary drinks. Will be visiting again. Viva La MXO!!!!”
Kuma Korean & Japanese
“V authentic Korean food for good prices and generous portions. Korean fried chicken was probably the best we’ve ever had. Friendly staff, quite busy in the weekend.”
Shoyu Cafe
“On roughly my 40th time I had finished the entire menu and I can safely say that it was just as good as the first everything Is homemade and always taste amazing”
Krenora Mediterranean Grill
“As someone who grew up in Greece, I recognise and appreciate authentic Greek souvlaki & gyros. KRENORA IS THE REAL DEAL! The chicken gyros and the pork skewers are really tasty and great quality. Go in and order if you're local (delivery services crank up the prices a lot). Super friendly service too. So happy they opened in the area...”
Coffee Corner Stop.
“Lovely staff great to get hold of via phone but no via what’s app shame”
The Surrey Coffee Company
“Lovely staff and food is great. It can get very busy at times specially in summer. Coffee is good and pastries are a good size and taste nice too.”
One4Six
“Friendly staff and very welcoming. The little girl at the counter was happy and full of smile. That's what you really want from a cafe, isn't it. Coffee is almost same everywhere but it's the service that matters. Seems like a favourite with locals Will go here again.”
Broadway Cafe
“We had a large breakfast and added a few bits. Was a nice cafe breakfast. The lady serving us was really nice too”
The Surbitonian Grind
“The best independent coffee shop you’ll find in south west london. Decor, coffee, food and service are all on point. Opened up during the pandemic and has thrived because it’s just fabulous.”
Puccino's
“I don't do reviews but today I had an amazing experience in Epsom Puccino's. The blonde lady that served me was very friendly and she made me the best mocha I have ever tasted in my life. Not only did it taste good, it looked good too because she made a cute art on it that brightened up my day. Sometimes small stuff like art on your coffee can brighten up someone's day. Keep up the amazing customer service guys, your really do know how to satisfy your customers. I will definitely recommend Epsom Puccino's to all my friends and colleagues.”
Nika Cafe&Store
“Cute little cafe, our dog absolutely loved the doggie danish pastry and puppacino! Will definitely be back ☺️”
Metronome
“Brilliant coffee shop. Great coffee and very friendly service. They also hold evening events, which are great fun. Top place”
The Cherry Tree Cafe
“Just love this little cafe. It changed a normally empty park and created a little community. Well done ladies. The cakes are to die for and the coffee is excellent. Jubilee weekend I think we indulged in the tastiest Victoria sponge cake.”
I Calabresi
“High quality delicious food, top quality fresh ingredients, high standard of food/drinks and service by food professionals, grocery store / deli counter fantastic, all from Italy. Prices very affordable and good value. Good atmosphere, attracts really nice local people. Also has an alcohol licence, drinks to drink in or take away, good cafe, really nice. Highly recommended.”
Atdheu Caffe
“As at 15Apr21. Great outdoor/indoor area at the back with open roof. Therefore, allowed to smoke. Covid secure. Nice coffee and snacks. Proper barista style coffees. Popular. Friendly, polite, professional staff. Popular with Albanian clientele but nice Albanians, not mafia or drug dealers! Lol. Yes, most Albanians are nice people too. Albanian music playing in background and Albanian football on the several wide-screen, flat, wall-mounted TVs. Would be a fun place to watch a big game. Small, cosy place. Had a revamp not long back. 2 toilets, gents and ladies. Outdoor, front street seating too.”
NEPA Coffee and food
“NEPA Coffe and Food is a favorite spot for those working and living in the area and a great alternative to both the coffee chains (i.e Starbucks) and and independent coffee shops (i.e Shoreditch Grind). NEPA is located on a side street off East Road and sandwiched between the Premier Inn hotel and Scape Shoreditch. Unlike other independent coffee shops that at times suffer of the Shoreditch attitude and outright bad service, the staff at NEPA are always cordial and friendly. This gives NEPA is a unique homely neighborhood cafe feel. The space is small and narrow with five to six small tables. In the summer it features three small tables for outside sidewalk sitting. It recently underwent an interior design update, which helped make the space more spacious but keeping the homely look and feel. The food on offer is a combination of coffee, tea, porridge, home baked goods and cakes - including croissants, muffins, Oreo cookie cake, lemon drizzle cake - and freshly made sandwiches and salads for lunch. The cakes and food are fresh and tasty. Opening at 7AM every day you can see the staff busy preparing the fresh food ahead of the lunch crowd. Price wise it is cheaper than your local Starbucks and the service is pure charm.”
Stantons Coffee House
“Coffee is great in this place. Plus, lovely place to hang out and chill. Super friendly staff too.”
Bojangles Coffee House
“We had a lovely time, the service was personal and brilliant. Food, exceptionally good. I would suggest making a booking as it was really busy all the time we were there. I would definitely recommend Bojangles.”
Caffe Nuovo
“Very friendly, family-run café. Wide variety of excellent, freshly-made food. Choose from Italian, Korean or English. Staff always approachable and willing to help. Nothing ever seems to be too much trouble. Highly recommended.”
