“Yesterday the lads came round to jet wash my patio. I didn't want to use any chemicals so just with water they did a splendid job. They tidied up afterwards and replaced pots etc into their original position.They also clean my windows regularly so I know them to be trustworthy, friendly, polite and kind.”

“At the end of a busy Saturday, with all staff busy unloading a delivery, I went into this shop in early May '22 looking for a specific cleaning product. The shop assistant not only showed me what they had, but stopped me spending £8 when I could spend $1.99 and get exactly what I actually needed. How very unusual these days to get such customer service! Despite the urgency of their task, I was never rushed. I will go back on the basis that real value is created by friendly, practical customer care.”

“Interesting polarisation of past reviews but I have to take as I find. I was only looking for advice and was upfront about the reason when I popped by. The shop manager was extremely helpful and spent a good 20-25 minutes taking me through all the complications of raw dog food. As a new owner I had some pretty dumb questions but I didnt get the sense at anytime that I had outstayed my welcome. The Owner clearly had a depth of experience (with dogs at least) and was happy to guide me. I would be surprised if you get that level of service in Pets at Home etc but it is a relatively small shop, heavily stocked so if room to push your shopping trolley is a priority, its possibly not the shop for you?”

“I have been going to Pamper Parlour for many years and have several regular treatments as well as buying lovely products. Calm, relaxing and clean environment provided by Sharon herself. Will be going back for many years to come and buying products. Would recommend Pamper Parlour to anyone wanting A* treatments and products for reasonable price.”

“We love the new wardrobes Rick and James have installed in our house. They have done two wardrobes in the bedrooms, one with a built in desk. Then a smaller room with a difficult stairs support they needed to cover up, it looks amazing and you would not know it was there. They have been a pleasure to deal with, proactive, very quick to respond, very flexible. Would highly recommend and use them again.”

“Daniel Mears has installed a gas boiler and central heating system to replace the defunct warm air heating system in our flat. He then fitted a new kitchen. I am delighted to recommend him. He is professional and approachable, as well as responsive. His work is absolutely excellent, as is that of the team of people who work with him. He pays attention to aesthetics as well as practicalities. Of particular note was the fact that we needed the job to be done within a specific timeframe and he overcame various obstacles to make that happen. His network of other good tradespeople is large, which is very useful when undertaking a project such as this. Lastly, we were not in the country whilst the work was done and yet we felt entirely comfortable leaving the keys with Daniel. He kept us informed as to progress with photos. In short, he is a star!”

And besides this, they do the best cuts in the area (and I've tried a few). £12 for men's cut but make sure you take cash with you as they don't take card and the card machine at the garage over the road is often broken.”
