“My six children all went to Oakwood - my eldest went to secondary school in 2002 and my youngest in 2015. They all look back with great affection at their time at the school and gratitude for the fantastic education, spiritual development and opportunities they had to develop their enjoyment and talents in music, drama, verse-speaking, sport. They had a lot of fun at Oakwood whilst always being encouraged to give of their best in their work and in their relationships with others. They felt genuinely cared for and valued by all the staff and supported if they struggled with school work or friendship issues or any other worries they had. Mr Candia, the Head, was especially an inspiration to them. As a parent I feel blessed that my children were able to spend those formative years at such a fantastic primary school.”

“My Son has been at John Ruskin College for 18 months now and I have to say all the staff I have had dealings with so far have been friendly, helpful and enthusiastic about their students and subjects. With current online learning (due to Covid 19) the teachers and support team have been second to none and are constantly at the end of an e-mail if help is needed. With this help and support my Son (who doesn't find learning easy) passed his Sports course last year and has just passed his GCSE Maths. He was so so lovely and kind, kept asking.how I was doing during the procedure. He saw i was very distressed about my dental issues and when I mentioned that I was struggling financially, he didn't ask for payment. I was so surprised and so so grateful i burst into tears. Honestly I am forever grateful for his generous gift and good work on my tooth. This dental practice is a good one. *Pretty smile now*”
