Café Spice Namasté
“The restaurant is located in a housing community 7/8 minutes from Gallions Reach DLR station. The isolated location is beneficial for serving the local community and knowledgeable food lovers. The bridge walk to the main entrance is spectacular and a sign of the delights to come. The decor is modern with wood and Arabic-style tiling. The servers are quietly hospitable and not aggressive like other establishments. It provides a homely experience and a sense of calm. The menu provides a fusion of Asian and European cuisine. There are various tasting dishes alongside the main cuisines. The food is excellent and provides a good array of flavours. The pepper beef tikka and lamb cutlets were a particular highlight. There is an extensive collection of malt whiskeys for connoisseurs, which provides an excellent range of choices. Those with dietary restrictions will find options limited to the savoury. The dessert options are heavily dairy-based. In part, due to the isolated location, there is no rush to leave once you have completed your meal and you can enjoy the company of friends. The prices of the dishes are a reflection of the area and a reasonable price of fine food. The servers will not pressure you to leave, which provides comfort. Upon leaving you are greeted well and have the knowledge of having experienced a special style of fine dining.”
Glasshouse Bexleyheath
“This restaurant was fantastic! The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were exceptional. I would highly recommend a visit, you will not be disappointed. I can’t wait to go back.”
Vida & Sons Bistro
“Highly recommend! Delicious food and friendly staff. Potatoes pancake with mushrooms are amazing. The best potatoes pancake ever tasted and I had a lot in my love.”
Chop Suey Centre
“Outrageously good food! I love Asian / oriental food, and it's so frustratingly hard to find a good, clean chinese takeaway. Was so happy when I found Chop Suey Centre - I went for the chicken and prawn sweet and sour with egg fried rice. Unbelievable!!! You can tell that they use good quality produce, the chicken was incredible, prawns tasted amazing, the sauce was just right. Cannot wait to go again, already recommended this place to many friends!”
Stone Cafe & BBQ
“Had breakfast at Stone Cafe this morning was a decent breaksfast, great service and it all came with a smile! Recommend and will be going back.”
Cavita
“Wonderful weekday night meal at Cavita. They are quite busy these days, so do book in advance. Otherwise, they have a bar downstairs if you just want drinks. We sampled a few items from each section of the menu including the chutoro tostada, pork tamal, mushroom tetela, beef shin quesabirria, and a half order of the octopus. The chicken mole verde and octopus are available in half portions! Highlights for us were the pork tamal (wrapped in collard greens), mushroom tetela, and of course the octopus. We also had the non-alcoholic fizzy ginger hibiscus drink which was tasty and refreshing. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience and so lovely to have Mexican food in London! So many delicious and inventive uses of corn and a range of salsas! The dining room is wonderfully decorated and service was fast, attentive, and welcoming.”
Bombay Night Leytonstone
“This little gem is right around the corner from me and makes their orders fresh as they come in. I ordered the chicken vindaloo and lamb samosas. Good value for an authentic meal and friendly customer service. Can’t beat that for a local takeout place!”
HUŎ
“An elevated experience of eating Pan-Asian cuisine. The interior design of the place is relaxing and comfortable.”
Figo Leyton
“Fab experience all around. Went with family. Great location, spacious and airy, direct view in the kitchen (always a good thing), smiley staff and amazing pizza. On way out treated myself with some beautifully made pistachio cannoli. Highly recommend.”
The Brasserie at Sir Christopher Wren
“The best brasserie in Windsor. Our choice for decades, regardless of the manager: the riverside views are incredible and the atmosphere unique. Impeccable service and reasonable prices that keep us coming from central London.”
Fig & Olive
“I’m giving this place a 5 just for the orange and carrot cake. I’m a big cake lover and I was impressed. It was one of the best carrot cakes I have ever had. The cream cheese frosting was the perfect ratio to the cake. It was super delicious and I’m definitely returning just for this.”
STRAKER'S
“Fantastic experience at Strakers, intimate setting with great music. Service was good and they are doing a nice job with numbers they have for front of house. Food is nothing short of spectacular, every dish had amazing flavours and the desserts took it to the next level. Cocktails were a highlight too. Already looking to try and pencil in another booking! Get yourself a reservation.”
Jolene Hornsey Road (aka Big Jo)
“This has become my favourite coffee shop/restaurant in the neighbourhood. Amazing coffee and delicious pastries selection every day (their croissants are to die for!) The staff has always been super friendly and helpful! Great atmosphere and it’s also baby friendly ;)”
108 Brasserie
“What a lovely experience we had here. We celebrated our 4th anniversary and from start to end it was just amazing. The food was great, the staff were lovely and professional. Highly recommended”

The World's End Market at The World's End Distillery
“Some of the best steak I've had. Had the ox skirt which was perfectly cooked (charred on the outside and medium rare inside). Wife's burger was amazing, smokey and juicy. The starters were fantastic too. Burrata, beautifully tender chargrilled octopus and Truffle chips had great flavour.”
Podium Restaurant and Bar
“The best afternoon tea I have tried so far!! I loved it, it was totally perfect. The flavours were increíble; the amount and variety of everything was perfect and the price was great. It really surprised me because a lot of other places have higher prices por afternoon teas not even half good as this one. Super recommended”
Heddon Street Kitchen
“Audrey was fantastic and have great recommendations - I had the tuna tartar with was lovely full of flavour. The butter chicken was a delight but would have liked a little bit of spice added. Mac n cheese had somewhat of s funny taste not sure what the ingredient was but wouldn't recommend the carrots on the other hand were brilliant. Overall recommended and will be coming back for a tomahawk!”
Larry's
“Lovely restaurant, nice crowd and delicious food. Unfortunately eaten before I could get great photos. The corn ribs (pictured) were a highlight. Will definitely come back soon!”
Dalloway Terrace
“Great ambience with the flowers everywhere. Service is personable. Food is good (fish and chips was top notch-crispy fish with delicious peas, fries are well cooked) but slightly expensive. Smallish restaurant so best to book. Charming both in the day and at night.”
Vinoteca City
“Modern and cozy décor. Great selection of wine. They are also part of a super cool initiative that donates some money to homeless people (which is super cool). More about the initiative in the yellow card in the pic bellow.”
Yauatcha City
“Only the best to say about the food and service offered. Even if it is more expensive than the average Asian restaurants, the quality offered in Yauatcha is far superior and deserves every penny. A must-have are the super tasty little cakes they sell on the low ground pastry shop. I am highly recommend them for special occasions.”
Oriental Buffet Club
“Top marks for this fantastic restaurant! Went there with the work lot for an early dinner... The food was hot, fresh and delicious and the staff were continuously topping it up and keeping the buffet area clean and tidy. The selection was just incredible and it was quality stuff too... No different from a decent Chinese takeaway. The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful and the owner/manager dealt with a situation with gypsies refusing to pay in a calm and professional manner. The price was extremely reasonable too. I really cannot find any fault whatsoever with this restaurant and was very impressed! I rarely rate any establishment 5 stars but this one definitely deserves it!”
Zara Cafe Bistro
“This place is amazing! Atmosphere is cool and staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is very very good and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. Best English breakfast and Fish&Chips I ever eat .”
Belgique Cafe and Patisserie
The County Arms
“Dropped in by chance and was pleasantly surprised by the ambience and service. We ordered 3 burgers with all the trimmings with homemade chips for speed. We were well impressed by the presentation, speed and most importantly taste 10/10. Well worth a visit. PS. I tried an IPA from the barrel. Spot on!”
Alice House West Hampstead
“Dropped in here for a couple of drinks on a dry but cold November evening on my way home. Some more hardy customers were still enjoying the lovely seating area out front but I was made very welcome inside. Both staff members that I spoke to were extremely friendly and almost insistent that they brought my drink to my table (without a suggestion of a service charge). Also offering me a bottle of tap water, which I sensibly accepted. The cosy atmosphere was really lovely. Definitely more of a wine/cocktail bar with food, rather than a gastropub, but it suited my purpose perfectly. I didn’t try the food, hopefully next time.”
Prince Alfred
“My go to pub when staying at the Grand Royale London Hyde Park hotel on Inverness Terrace. Great selection of cask and craft beers with a pretty good pub grub menu. Had a vegetarian pie on my first visit and it was was very tasty. Because of its proximity to the Bayswater underground station I would stop and have my pre-match pint(s) before heading out to the grounds. Live music on Sundays which draws a sizeable crowd. Can't wait to get back there during my next visit to London.”
