Kind, funny, charismatic and knows exactly what she’s doing. She’ll listen but gently steer you along the right path if she envisages a better style/length to suit you. I’ve been seeing her for over six years (she’s now taken over this salon), as have my three teens and I always always always love her colour and cuts. She is a wonderful stylist/director/hairdresser who goes above and beyond to accommodate you with a slot (she even gave me a pair of mini straighteners once so I could try them out!). I have used Nick for several years and followed him from a very well respected barbers in Shoreditch. He is always booked up for a few weeks so get your booking in early. He knows his stuff from industry knowledge to knowing the best products to use on your hair. He is also a teacher and educator in his methods which shows his credentials in the industry. This is reflected in him winning the Modern Barber award along with his fellow Barber Eli. I always have a good bit of banter with Nick when I go in which makes the experience all the better. I would recommend him to anyone as I always get a great haircut and beard trim! He is Geeziest geezer out there too”

“I've been waiting for a decent cigar shop to open in West London for a decade. The Kensington Cigar shop is not just decent though. It is outstanding. The cigar selection is excellent. The humidors are high quality and work well. The staff are knowledgeable, have usually tried most cigars they sell, are helpful and friendly. The cigars themselves are always in excellent shape. “Piano Week in December 2020 was a wonderful experience. I am a piano/music novice with just over a year experience and as an adult learner, I wanted an experience with first rate teachers in a comfortable environment to gauge where I was and how to move forward. Piano Week exceeded every expectation. I was able to work on a variety of pieces and accomplished several "firsts" - performing in front of others (virtually), composing, improvisation, while also getting wonderful coaching on how to polish a piece, how to start a piece, technical exercises, organizing practice time, etc. I walked away inspired by the quality of the teachers and grateful they were able to connect with a novice player, pick me up where I was and give me some tools to move forward! Wonderful chance to get focused exposure to world class musicians and teachers. I took the class remotely from the comfort of home but the logistics and attention to detail were very professional! Wonderful professional staff, great participants - highly recommended!”
