Chai
● Open87 Burnt Ash Lane, Bromley BR1 5AA, United Kingdom“We were visiting family in the area and happened across this lovely café. Very friendly owner & staff. We were so impressed on our first visit that we ate lunch there the following day too. Both days the food was lovely. Great choice of deli style sandwiches/rolls - we chose ciabatta - and the fillings were plentiful, fresh and a bit different to the usual run of the mill sandwiches offered in many other cafés. We also tried their eggs benedict which were cooked to perfection. Fruit smoothies were also terrific. They also offer cakes & pastries. Very reasonable prices too. We highly recommend Chai With Friends. Give it a go, you won’t be disappointed.”

Star & Garter Pub
● Closed227 High Street, Bromley BR1 1NZ, United Kingdom“This pub continues to be one of the very best in London. Always an exceptional range of keg beers available from the elite of craft beer. Their cask beer is always incredibly well kept, perfectly conditioned. The staff are also really sweet and helpful, and their hand soaps are always fun. Quite simply - the best pub in London.”

The Crown
● Open“Edit August 2022 - five stars. I have visited the pub 6 times and have found the service and food pretty consistent, from the first day of opening to some of their most busiest times in the evenings and sunny days. They do roast dinners very well, the condiments are as good as the food and I suspect they are freshly made on site - horseradish had enough burn, mint sauce tastes fresh etc. There is a good selection of draught, as well as soft drinks. The luscombe brand is well worth trying as a non-alcoholic drink. Soda water is also available by the pint which is good to see. As a vegetarian option (can't remember if they are vegan), the allotment salad is tasty and available as main or small plate. I have had it twice and the leaves have always been fresh. If you don't like much dressing I'd recommend asking for it on the side, however it is the right amount for me. I did prefer the salad to the veggie haggis pie as I felt the flavours didn't blend as well with the rest of the filling. If you enjoy meat options, I would definitely recommend the chicken pie as a hearty option. A nice salad option would be the sticky beef salad, although I would recommend taking it as a smaller portion than the large main. The steak frites was delicious, very well cooked, a tasty steak and you definitely can taste is a higher quality cut. If it is a Sunday, definitely try out the roast dinners, you won't be disappointed. I have tried two of the desserts, a morello cherry sundae (with popping candy) and the dairy free Belgium waffle dessert. I think that both were equally good. The cocktails are great, I also enjoy the hot drinks too. If you are looking to visit in busier times, I would definitely recommend booking. The managers and staff are friendly and hardworking, this pub is definitely a welcome treat for the local area. I'd say, to get this review to 5 stars, it will just come with time as we know the hospitality industry in under pressure and novice staff are undergoing training, which can be more complex than it looks.”

Huellas Bilingual Childcare
● Closed“Jessica and her team are fantastic. I have nothing but good things to say about Huellas. I had both of my daughters with Jessica and her team for 4 months. My 1 year old full time and my 6 year old in the mornings where Jessica would take her to school. Both girl always enjoyed themselves and had fun. We don’t speak Spanish but it was great to expose them to another language and expand their horizons. Jessica and her team are very caring and loving to the children and I never once felt concerned about leaving them with her. They would regularly go above and beyond to make the experiences fun for the girls. I will be highly recommending Huellas to anyone who requires a childminder and I hope the Huellas team has a fantastic future.”

St Christopher's the Hall School
● Closed“We currently have our daughter attending the preschool (having started in lower kindie), for 2 years now and it has been a pleasure seeing how far she has progressed. Our daughter has really grown in confidence whilst developing through the EYFS, as well as her own personal development. All her teachers are so lovely, and caring. The pastoral care at this school really is fantastic and that is one of the many reasons why we chose St Christopher’s for our daughters primary education. We look forward to Sept 2022 when she starts Reception, and enjoy everything the school has to offer.”
