Great Waves Swimming Academy
● Closed“My children have been having lessons with Great Waves for about 5 years and we are really happy. The teachers are great- really kind, patient and professional. Lessons are well organised and the communication is excellent. We are kept informed of any changes e.g. a different teacher or an issue with parking at the venue. I'd especially recommend Great Waves for children with SEN as they go out of their way to get to know each child and how to support them.”

Purley Oaks Primary School, Nursery and Children's Centre
● Closed“I have been working at Purley Oaks for over 10 years now as a class teacher , both in Year One and Reception. I can honestly say that I love it here. Everyone is so kind and welcoming . We all help each other out no matter what year group we are in or what job role we have - we are a great team! I was advised when I was an NQT to keep moving to different schools but I really don’t want to be anywhere else! In Reception we are a fantastic team and work very closely together. We have such fun and it is amazing to see the children progress throughout the year. I feel that in Early Years we give children a great start to their learning careers!”

South Norwood Leisure Centre
● Open“I think the classes are really good. All the coaches are very professional and very dynamic. I absolutely love the spin classes. I have been to many other providers in London and these spin classes are the best in my opinion. I like that the atmosphere is so supportive between members too, it just feels good to be in those classes. Maybe the gym area is a bit small, I do not use the changing rooms as I live nearby. I am yet to go to the swimming pool.”

Gingerbread Corner Nursery & Afterschool
● Closed“My daughter has just started here and I am very happy with our experience so far. The staff are amazing and have been very supportive. I had some initial worries about my girl not taking milk in a bottle (I am still breast feeding 15 months later :/) but they reassured me that they will try to get her to have some and if not they will offer her some fruit as an alternative. It was to my great surprise when I went in to pick her up on day four that she had drank half a cup of milk and was fast asleep. I couldn't believe my eyes and actually started crying. My little lady had NEVER slept without boob or being tied to my mum's back at nap time - one more week of this and I am sure poor grandma was going to need physio on her back haha. Honestly, thank you, thank you, thank you for making this anxious first time mumma bear feel more comfortable (almost totally there) letting her cub go ( albeit for a few hours in the day) and for saving grandma's back!”

South Norwood Primary School
● Open“Love this school, hidden away in a residential area, you are welcomed by an old, huge building but it is not intimidating. The school is friendly and nurturing, like when I went to school. It is not like these academies that focus on results and not the children's wellbeing. The staff are friendly and my children made fabulous progress here! Dont just read ofsted reports, go and visit a school and talk to the people who work there day in and day out!”
