ZSL London Zoo
● Closed“Excellent place to visit with friends, family, kids, or even alone. There's a lot to see and to do so it's worthwhile to count on spending here at least 3-4 hours. The whole area of the zoo is well-kept, mostly accessible and easily walkable. There's a good availability of food, drink, restrooms, benches and other means for relaxation. The place can be easily visited and accessed both by car and public transportation. The staff was very friendly, engaging and shared a lot of useful and interesting information with us. It's definitely good value for money and a must see if you have the chance for visiting.”

Exotic Explorers
● Closed1 Kensington Road, Pilgrims Hatch, Brentwood CM15 9LG, United Kingdom“If you are looking for an unforgettable and unique birthday party experience, I can highly recommend Exotic Explorers. Julie and Hannah were highly knowledgeable, approachable, patient and friendly. The party was well structured, run smoothly and animals very well handled and relaxed. I would also love to praise the care that was taken to make them as comfortable as possible during the party - it was great to see all animals chilled and happy. Puri was very helpful and advised us on the right animals for the age group. (4-7yo). The booking and payment process were easy. Children (and parents!) were mesmerised and loved it.”

Eagle Heights Wildlife Foundation
● Closed“We were visiting from Texas and my mother in law planned a trip here because my 7 year old son is obsessed with Birds of Prey. This was one of the most amazing experiences we had while in England and life long memories my son will have. The grounds are immaculately kept up, the birds and all animals are well taken care of. They have meerkats, pigs, goats, lambs, and huskies along with so many birds. The bird experience was amazing and watching their keepers explain in detail about each one made it incredibly fascinating. We will visit again in the future 1000%. There is a little playground on site and plenty of parking space available. Also the drive to the Eagle Heights is a breathtakingly beautiful one. Gorgeous views and it is close to a small little village like town.”

Paradise Wildlife Park
● Closed“This turned out to be a really enjoyable day out. The staff were very very friendly, the Keepers knew their animals and were happy to tell you about them. Nothing was too much trouble. The park was clean and kept clean the animals were wonderful and so enjoyable to watch. I'd like to thank the young lady with the porcupines, forgive me I can't remember your name, and Dennis with the Lions. The Speedway museum is closed on Mondays ( the day I went) but the young lady managed to ask somebody to open it especially for me to look in it, as I had gone to see it and also the animals. I recommend Paradise very, very highly, enjoyable day out, the staff are well trained and I cannot speak more highly of them. The food was good and reasonably priced, again with very happy to help staff. I came away very happy with my day out.”

Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park - TCV
● Closed“Fantastic little nature reserve located on the Greenwich Peninsula, not far from the yacht club and the O2. Nature and educational activities available on a regular basis. An outdoor learning area is currently being built. The ecology park is home to lots of wildlife including birds and insects. A wooden boardwalk takes you through the park and is a peaceful way to while away some time. Highly recommended.”

Whipsnade Zoo
● Closed“A great day out for couples! Plenty of space for a picnic or for a rest in general during sunny and warm days in between of walking around. Plenty to see- you need at least 8h to be able to see everything properly. I would suggest leaving early. There's plenty of free parking. There’s an option to convert your ticket to a membership for a low fee and then you can get more for your money if you like going to Zoo more then once a year.”

ZSL
● Closed“I went for the twighlight event which was so lovely, usually I come to the zoo with my daughter but it was great to experience the zoo as an adult as the facts about the animals were a little more age appropriate. There were many pop up areas and the decor was lovely to see. There were areas to sit and relax and enjoy your food and drinks too. Only thing I was gutted about was not seeing the tigers and gorillas but it is what it is. I managed to see everything else and learn some new facts too.”

Chessington World of Adventures Resort
● Closed“Stayed here from Monday and Tuesday, staying over the Monday night at the Safari Hotel. We really enjoyed the park, youngest was 1.1m oldest 1.2m so a few rides we had to separate for a few. Easier 1:1 child to adult ratio for under 7s I'd say. Hotel room was perfect and it was amazing staying next to the safari park. Buffet dinner and breakfast at the Azeteca Hotel was mayhem but really good quality. Perfect for the kids. Loved the 9am entry to the park although I'd flag not that many rides were open. Overall a great 2 days with a 4 and 6 year old.”

Tigers
● OpenDunstable LU6 2QJ, United Kingdom“The tigers here are so lovely. We like to play a game of finding the tigers since they like to hide! Sometimes you can spot them having a nap, eating or washing. As with all the different animal enclosures at this zoo, there is plenty of room for these beautiful animals to roam around. We love coming here, and we definitely recommend that you go and visit too!”
