● Closed“I don't even know where to start! My sister-in-law had her wedding dress designed and made by Elaine and recommended her to me when I couldn't find my perfect outfit for my own big day. I honestly can't shout loudly enough about how great Elaine is. I walked into her shop with some fabric and a rough idea of a jumpsuit I wanted, and when I tell you I felt like I knew this woman my entire life, I mean it. I was greeted by the most friendly, charismatic and talented dressmaker! (Plus an adorable little furry friend, Bonnie) In just a two weeks Elaine made me a toile (a test) of the jumpsuit, made sure everything was perfect before going on to do the final outfit in my chosen fabric and it is honestly the most flattering item I've ever tried on (I had to buy this too). The whole process was zero stress and I knew I was in excellent hands. Her communication and precision was impeccable: She dropped by my house to make sure I was happy with the lining she had chosen and just everything about Elaine's process is so hands on, accommodating and friendly. She just really wants you to be happy! I wasn't the slightest bit worried or nervous when I arrived back at her shop just a few weeks later to try on the finished jumpsuit. It fit perfectly and we were both just as excited that the vision had come to life. I don't know what I would have done without her! I know this isn't my last purchase from Elaine and I can't wait to get new garments made by her. Her talent and love for the craft really speaks for itself, but honestly she's just great all round! She did everything possible to make me happy, comfortable and covid safe. If you're umming and ahing about where to get your wedding dress, jumpsuit or just the most flattering day to day clothing look no further. Elaine is an incredible designer, seamstress and awesome woman! I was so excited to show Elaine our wedding photos and share how everyone at the wedding was just as in love with the jumpsuit as we were. I honestly wouldn't change anything about the process or the outfit. She made the whole thing seamless and enjoyable (plus she saved my husband a headache or two)! Thank you Elaine!”

● Closed“I visited Suit City in the hope I could somehow purchase a suit for a posh lunchtime event starting in less than 18 hours time in central London. Due to me putting on too much weight, I just did not have anything to wear that fitted. I had driven past Suit City plenty of times without feeling the need ever to go inside.....until now!! I was met by Nicholas who was an absolute gentleman and went above and beyond the call of duty pulling out many suits and trousers for me to try on until we finally came across one that made me feel relaxed and comfortable. The trousers needed shortening and not only did Nicholas's son run these to their tailor to immediately work on, Nicholas even met me after 6pm to hand the finished suit to me. I would highly recommend Suit City and would like to thank Nicholas once again for pulling out all the stops enabling me to have a lovely day in London with no stress! I certainly will be back. (Here I am on the right with ex-West Ham footballer Tony Cottee who was guest speaker for the evening!)”
