“Dawn at the Guildford showroom was great. She knew the products, answered all our questions, gave her informed opinion when asked and was not at all pushy to achieve a sale. Both visits (the second after looking at colours and sizes) were a delight and the showroom is very impressive. This is our second suite purchase from this company; the first being many years ago, and we can’t recommend them (and Dawn) highly enough.”

“Wonderful brunch with friends here on Sunday. They have plenty of seating, some fantastic breakfast/brunch options and really speedy and friendly service. Coffee was also good so we were very impressed with our visit and will definitely return to check out the champagne brunch deal (any breakfast dish, glass of champagne and juice or coffee for £17.95) Tip- if you’re driving into town then it’s best to park at the Castle Street or Sydenham Road car park and wander down to the restaurant.”

“I just purchased a Sleep Story Luxury 2000 divan set and was very impressed with the whole set up at Furniture Village Guildford. Talking to a properly qualified salesman (Ian McPhee) who actually knew what he was talking about was like a breath of fresh air. I also visited Dreams & DFS but couldn’t find anyone to help without them reading off the description cards attached to the beds. Ian was absolutely brilliant and a very nice chap also.”

“My fiancé and I were absolutely overwhelmed with delight by the quality of the bespoke art deco diamond engagement ring Sedat at Charmé made for us. He even used 3D design tools to show me what the the ring would look like based on photos I supplied. I went to every jeweller in Guildford for quotes, and Charmé were the only jeweller that I felt were straight up and trustworthy, said it could be done for my price range, and with all the official GIA certificates. We couldn't be happier to find a modern jeweller we can keep coming back to. We will be returning to discuss having wedding bands made 100%. We would recommend this company to anyone.”

“Amo is brilliant, had many piercings done by her and it is always such a good experience, she's so friendly and really puts you at ease. The piercings have all healed perfectly and she obviously really understands the importance of individual anatomy in terms of piercings, which some previous peircers I've been to definitely haven't! The selection of jewellery she has is beautiful and the prices are very fair. I've now moved away to a different city but I still wouldn't go to anyone else, I'll wait until I'm around Guildford and go to her, trust her 100% and can't recommend enough!”

Fleur was brilliant - so enthusiastic and charming about our engagement, wedding and our rings. She was really helpful and listened to what we wanted while also offering alternatives to think about. We both bought our wedding bands that day and would highly recommend this store to others as we honestly couldn't fault it. It was perfect. The jewellery is great quality without the ridiculous price tags, you can still pay a fortune if you like or are very specific about what you want, but they have stunning options at really reasonable prices, which is exactly what we were looking for, and we both got platinum, and mine had diamonds and we only paid £2100 in total which I think is bloody brilliant! Once ordered, the food were served efficiently and the taste is good and very importantly hot enough. “The hotel is an amazing large old building with lots of nooks and crannies. Great garden. Looks a good venue to have a wedding. Food is good in the restaurant and service is good but can be a bit slow. This is tucked away from the main road.”

The Angel bar is great fun to go in the evening and enjoy music and cocktails. Guildford as a town has a lot to offer and after a busy day exploring Guildford you can enjoy a restful night sleep in a beautiful period room. The reception staff on arrival were brilliant and the staff in the evening and at checkout were brilliant. Professional and friendly and very welcoming. Looking forward staying here again soon.”

Absolutely delicious, ordered the menu for 2 with some extra starters which was perfect for 3 adults and great value too. We will definitely be making this our regular.”
