The DP Cafe - Whitton Sunday 11th September 2022 - 15:50 Opening Hours: Monday - Saturday- 07:00-17:00 Sunday - 08:00-16:00 There is some seating outside and plenty of seating inside. The refurbishment inside is really nice and is colourful, bright, fresh and it is very clean. I had a medium coffee with a slice of chocolate and caramel cake. A really nice smooth coffee and scrumptious cake, all for £6.30p which I think is reasonable. The couple running the place are friendly, polite and very welcoming. I’m not one for coffee shops but I will definitely become a regular visitor here.”

The menu appeals from top to bottom, the service is friendly, attentive and what really appealed was the recommendation for a wine so perfect for lunch, there was no way I'd have chosen so well. Overall, this is a fabulous place for lunch and I reckon even better for dinner......which I'm looking forward to finding out :)”

“I have been to the Crown for casual evening drinks while sitting outside in their nice garden a couple of times but never been there for lunchtime or dinner. I finally had a chance to book a table (advisable because I tried to turn up in a couple of occasions and they were always full) and had a fantastic dining experience! “Location is just on the edge of Twickenham town centre. Good pub ambience. There’s a nice all weather garden terrace which is great. Nice food menu with well thought-out selection of tantalising contemporary dishes and a wide array of ales and beers. I had the wild boar sausage served with creamy mash, green beans and lovely onion gravy. My lunch companion had the pan fried seabass served with green beans, lovely spring onions mashed potatoes. This was topped with white wine creamy sauce that had brown shrimps and chives. I must say the food was generally above average quality. The restaurant team and the waiting staff were extremely polite, eager to help and very cheerful.”

“I've been planning to go to this place for a while, and finally I did. Excellent Indian food cooked by experienced award winning chef, Naj Najmul. The waiter service was really good, especially Emon, who was very friendly and top for customer service and it was a very busy restaurant. Seen celebs there as well. Good selection on the menu, managed to find a parking space on Sunday, outside seating is also available. Would definitely go back again.”

“Great staff, very reasonably and serve good beer. No issues if you ask for a top up etc. I usually find that an issue in pubs. Anyway this pub should be proud of its etiquette, really excellent. My dad played for the football team in 1974 and still drinks in here. One of the few fullers pubs they haven't ruined - good work team who work there.”
