I've swapped to refill hand wash, washing liquid, shampoo, pasta, snacks, chocolate, coco powder, flour, spaghetti, toilet cleaner, window cleaner, deodorant, dishwasher tabs, rinse aid.... It goes on. I've discovered recyclable e-toothbrush heads, toilet bombs, enviro friendly & refillable chewing gum, and environmentally friendly sanitary products! It's good to know I'm buying eco products, supporting an independent local business and making a difference to the environment!”

“This place is so underestimated! An absolute gem of Leytonstone. From the outside, you might just walk past but once you’re inside you are instantly impressed with wonderful friendly service, outstanding food and delicious wine. The chef here is brilliant! Every single dish we had was absolutely delicious. Our party of four shared the prawn and saffron risotto, Mediterranean sea bass, sticky steak salad and prawn in white wine sauce and we were absolutely bowled over by how delicious they were! “Nice wine, helpful service. The team here are really helpful. I had help finding the wine I was looking for. I was given a sheet with tasting notes for all the wines i bought and my wine was carried to the car for me. There were a number of wines open to try. Although I didn't like any of them as they were all old world. Suggestion for improvement - perhaps wider variety of wine available to taste ( new and old world).”

“Coffee tastes amazing, they sale their own house blend coffee beans for those who likes to make it themselves at home, I was surprised with the price for a whole kilogram, literally 20 or 30% less than big chains. I loved the atmosphere as well as the manager/owner was very kind person. Highly recommended place for breakfast and lunch.”

“A fantastic little restaurant almost hidden in the village. The outside is quite nondescript but once in you are welcomed warmly by all the staff. Some amazing dishes on the menu including their bruschetta rustica and the sea bass. Staff were quick, friendly and attentive.”

“Went here for a belated Valentine’s Day lunch. It was amazing. The location is really nice, and easy to find. The vibe of the restaurant is perfect, intimate, cool decor, perfect playlist. The food was amazing, we had; Crab salad, veal pasta, crispy lamb, rostis, potatoes, cabbage, prawn toast. It was all delicious. It’s hard to pick a winner, my fave was the prawn toast, my partner loved her lamb and veal pasta. The rum and coke old fashioned was tasty. The service was excellent, always someone on hand to help you out, take an order, check if you’re alright. I’ll definitely be coming back again. My expectations were very high due to reviews about it and it exceeded them all.”

“What I really like about the Wine Reserve, other than the fantastic selection they have, is the knowledge, the interest and the passion the staff have for wine. Their recommendations have been great, and the service, the charm and the options on offer are all excellent. Standard bar. Food was really good. Service a little hesitant as team settle in. Prices low now because of opening promotion.”

“Best Halal burgers in London! I have been patiently waiting for this restaurant to open for quite a long time and finally managed to go there with the family over weekend. Great owner, amazing staff and comfortable spectacular seating interior. Food was out of this world - taste, texture and presentation took the whole dining experience to another level. They serve a range of delicious burgers, wings, tenders, shakes and desserts. Their cute little sliders were just perfect for my little children. InshAllah will be visiting Shrunk more often. 5 Stars!”

“Great little place. Have been quite a few times and always great. Breakfast is delicious - not quite 100% on the eggs but that is personal preference. We went with our son recently and they were very accommodating with a high chair. I would recommend caution taking a pram because the place is small and if it is busy - as it often is - it can be awkward managing that BUT it is busy because of how nice it is.”
