“Travelled from South London as there isn’t any Halal Chinese eat in spots. Overall great food and wasn’t not disappointed, loved that it was nothing fancy. Food was quick and fresh. Menu is halal and has many options.”

“Absolutely delicious!! The kebabs were the best we have had (and we have tried many), it was very flavoursome, you could really taste the various spices and left us wanting more! The chicken shawarma was top notch, nice, juicy and had flavour to it, not bland as most restaurants!! A good portion too. Excellent value for money. Highly recommend trying this restaurant!”

“Had a great experience at Apna Des. It was late night and they were about to close but they were kind enough to serve as as their last customers for the day. Ordered Chicken Karahi and chicken biryani and got the suggestion for Garlic naan which was really amazing. Both of the main courses were lovely, loved the quantity too. Staff was really helpful specially Annie, kudos to her. Overall: 9/10 Definitely going back very soon”

“I have been ordering food here for number of years. I have been always been increased with the food. The staff have always been accommodating. We usually order the same thing and have never been disappointed. The nachos always have enough sauce and topping. We ask the staff to put the veggie chilli separate so the food is not soggy by the time it reaches us.”

“Don't go to many places on their opening week due to my thinking it will be too busy and I hate waiting for a table. However Ive seen this place get refurbished for a few weeks and the inside deco just was eye catching, so thought I had to visit this place. Went on the 3rd day of opening and was full house but luckily we got a table straight away. Due to the business there was a wait to get the order In and for the food to come out but I must admit it was worth it. Firstly the deco of this place is one of the best I've seen, so unique and elegant, was told by the owner the wall deco was painted all by hand. Food wise now managed to try a large variety of the menu as there were 7 of us eating so tried a bit from everyone and overall would give it 4 out of 5 stars, high quality ingredients were used, flavourful however felt the presentation could have been more wow factor to match then deco, hence the 4 stars but overall for everything definitely 5 stars. Management was amazing also as they weren't serving a dessert menu during opening week but the owner went back and made us an exclusive dessert just for us as we were the last table. For Thai food in East London I would say this is the place to go.”

“Went here not expecting much, just a local place to eat. However ended up being blown away by the food, portion size, and overall price. Nice family place to go to and enjoyed pretty much everything on the menu especially the mixed grill which was so flavourful and juicy.”

“This is a very good and local store. You get everything for emergency groceries. Staff veey helpful. It has got 2 self checkouts and 2 manned tills. There is limited parking in front of the store. Availability of stock is good.”

“This is the second order and I’ve had no issues with either. Pizzas have been hot, tasty, as ordered and delivered within about half an hour. I ordered online so only had contact with the two different drivers and both have been pleasant. Thanks”
