“So blessed that I found this restaurant near the river. It was a sunny day and good vibe at Cote. The staff were super nice and polite, food were ok. Definitely recommend to anyone who visits Kingston and wants to have a chill and relaxed day.”

“I love this place ! They do good char siu bao amongst others. Then I often try lots of Japanese noodles you won't find in regular supermarkets oriental/asian section even. Then they do moon cake which is really good, or I would have had to go into China Town to get.”

I would definitely recommend number 11 on the menu (the cold mezze platter with hummus, tabbouleh and falafel). Sharing is so delightful with such a reasonably priced menu. Nothing was too much trouble for the servers who swapped my order of french fries to a portion of the potatoes, thank you! Will definitely be returning.”

“There curry’s are delicious. Has a very homely flavour to them which is very close to authentic Bangali/Indian curry. Had their lamb madras which was lovely, could be hotter but nonetheless was yummy. My favourite is their Dhaal dish! Absolutely scrumptious and has such a silky taste! The best Iv tasted in a very long time! Light in taste just the way it should be. I highly recommend! And food arrived piping hot!”

“I am constantly amazed that I can buy a full bag of fruit and vegetables and only pay £15. I am sure the same list would cost twice as much in my local supermarket. The quality is no different and they use paper bags not plastic like supermarkets and you can actually talk to someone who knows about the products. This place is one of the few independent shops in the area. Use it or lose it.”

“I was so scared after I'd searched up the restaurant on Google, having ordered from Uber Eats. Since the Google reviews were awful, I was expecting that things would be missing, or the food would be horrible. That was not the case AT ALL! The delivery was very quick, and took around 25-30 mins at most. The food was complete. They added utensils. All the viands were filled with meat, and everything arrived still hot. The food was very tasty, and we particularly loved the Sweet and Sour Chicken. We also had some Beef with Mushrooms, which was so juicy and soft. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant.”
