“Convenient parking outside, although only for a few cars, but larger public carpark opposite. When I've been in there odd times of the day there are plenty of tables free and little or no queue. Very friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere. Mobile worker friendly as well.”

“I bought an Amalfi Double Hanging Egg Chair from Rattan Garden Furniuture, online pictures looked great and the price compared with many others online especially for the double chair was excellent. The idea was firstly it would look great in the garden and secondly somewhere to sit in the sun or cosied up at night under a stary sky with my significant other as its quite large. Well great idea if we could get our teenage daughter out of it, has become her Tiktoc text hub, so have to consider another one now. The chair is very comfortable and sturdy and to easy to unintentionally fall asleep in it. The quality is good and we would have no hesitation in purchasing again from Rattan Garden Furniture. The online porcess was simple, delivery was very fast considering we live in Scotland and also free, amazing considering the weight of the package. Anyway will add photos, but a fantastic purchase!!”

“Haven’t been here for a while. And I can say it’s definitely been worth the wait drinks and food was amazing. We was served by Biggie who recommended the drinks to us. Was very helpful as he asked us what we like and don’t like to give us the best options on the menu. Will definitely be returning to try the other stuff on the menu. “We went to the switch on of the Christmas lights by Bradley Walsh and Santa !! The blue boar had a small Christmas market in the car pack - the pub was extremely busy but plenty of staff - we had a large round table of 13 and had 3 course roast and we were all veery happy with how lovely it was considering it was so busy but m there ! The service was good the staff were all helpful . We all had a fab day great atmosphere and food was top notch !! Well done blue boar and the staff who worked so hard under pressure x”

“Foodies is a great place to eat, it is consistent and good quality food. I go for the double beef burger and signature fries and it always tastes the same. The meat is very high quality. Their menu is good but if you stray too much from the popular items most of the stuff is out of stock. All in all their breakfast options are good.”

“Outrageously good food! I love Asian / oriental food, and it's so frustratingly hard to find a good, clean chinese takeaway. Was so happy when I found Chop Suey Centre - I went for the chicken and prawn sweet and sour with egg fried rice. Unbelievable!!! You can tell that they use good quality produce, the chicken was incredible, prawns tasted amazing, the sauce was just right. Cannot wait to go again, already recommended this place to many friends!”

“If you are looking for an indian restaurant look no further as Ginger Spice is clearly the best. Decorated beautifully with a large comfortable bar area to relax whilst having pre dinner drinks.The waiters are so friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The food was all lovely. The flavours of the spices with the beautiful presentation made every mouthful wonderful. It was a totally different experience for me as I normally choose a sauce based curry but I decided to opt for fish and king prawns and it was so fully of flavour and the fish remained delicate. My husband chose the salmon main and the spice added to a lovely salmon fillet. We were not rushed and had a great interaction with the waiters. They made sure all 10 of us were served together by using a restuarent dessert trolley to bring all of our dishes at once. The only disappointment was another unnecessarily noisy table of 10 next to us which made conversation difficult whilst they were at their table. But that unfortunately happens sometimes nowadays. The main restuarent was much quieter with curved booth setting to give more privacy which is ideal for smaller groups. I can recommend with confidence.”

“Had a delivery last night consisting of a range of dishes, along with rasmalai for dessert. We couldn't fault the food. The portions were extremely generous. We were given sauce, poppadoms and salad for free. They have a good range of dishes for meat eaters and vegetarians. We would definitely buy again.”

“Dropped in here on a work trip. Had couple of poppadoms which were accompanied by 4 dips including line pickle, yogurt based, mango chutney and chopped onion etc. Without doubt each of the dips was the best of its kind I have ever had, with the lime pickle of particular note. For main course I wanted a dish I had never seen before which was a beef and potato stew (name escapes me) but the waiter explained that this was very special and off menu on the day. Instead he recommended gosht e khas, made from fillet of lamb and 22 different spices which was delicately delicious. The accompanying mushroom rice was also delicious and I gave up inspecting it to see what the constituent ingredients were as they were too numerous. All of the things I ate appeared very carefully assembled with lots of attention to detail in terms of ingredients and preparation of the same. All the food was delicious and the service was just right. The main course was ready quickly but the waiter asked if I would like it held back whilst I finished my poppadoms. I do prefer an Indian restaurant with kingfisher on tap, but at least it was in bottles, so given how good the food was I'm being forgiving and sticking to five stars.”

“Nice atmosphere. Really lovely staff. Good there's a loo on site too. We had a cheese and tomato croissant served warm. Slice of carrot cake and a good cup of coffee. There are sandwiches, paninis, toasties on offer as well as soup,sausage rolls and a selection of cakes.”

“30 years ago on 16th October 1992, me and my husband had our wedding reception here. We had a great time. Today 30 years later, to the day, we chose to celebrate our anniversary here. I have to say I am so glad we did. I booked the table on line, (how technology has come on in all that time!) We arrived and were greeted by a young lady who just beamed a huge smile. She found our table for us and I was touched by the reserved label with my name and anniversary written on it. Another young lady (i think the manager) came to our table, again with a lovely beaming smile, and a candle, which she explained she had wanted to place on our table before we arrived. Another really sweet touch. She explained that there was no longer table service but she wanted to do table service for us. We felt really pampered. What a treat. We were looked after from start to finish, smiles all the time.. checking to make sure all was well. The food was lovely, the girls were wonderful, going above and beyond to make sure our anniversary was celebrated in style. We were most touched by being invited to have a look upstairs where we had our reception all those years ago! It was quite surreal, and I felt quite emotional. We would just like to say a huge thank you for such a wonderful, friendly, welcoming visit. 10/10 From Sharmayne and Les”
