“We visited here today for their bottomless brunch. I can honestly say that this is great value for money especially if you add the cocktail upgrade. Our waiter for our visit was CJ and considering it was only his second day he did a great job. Nothing was too much trouble. If you're passing and fancy some great food and even better cocktails it's well worth a visit.”

“Comfortable hotel at a very reasonable price. Rooms are spacious, clean and quiet with (width-restricted) opening window. I have stayed here four times in last 3 months, and have another booking upcoming. Room is well appointed with an extremely comfortable bed and large work area with plenty of power points and USB plug sockets around the room. The room has tea/coffee making facilities, but does not supply decaffeinated coffee in the room (but it is available from reception free of charge). The shower works well, but is over the bath requiring a significant step up (although rooms with accessible facilities are possible). Hotel is in a quiet location on the edge of town. Breakfasts are good value, but dining area can be very busy and many children WILL be present (hotel is convenient for Harry Potter tour). There is currently no food or bar service in the evenings but there are pubs and restaurants within a reasonable walking distance. The staff are both friendly and accommodating. My only issues are that a non-slip mat is not provided for the bath, and decaffeinated coffee is not in the room, requiring a trip down to reception, but these are minor inconveniences.”

“Great place for a vegetarian, I loved the vegetable paneer and katsu veg curry toppings! Veg stir fry is good too. Love that you can pick two different bases, my favourites are the spicy fries and veg fried rice. While the boxes make look small it's genuinely quite a large portion that'll leave you full, their regular size of £7 is a perfect takeaway.”

“Very beautiful hotel! The staff are very very helpful and friendly. If we needed any assistance the receptionist and the other staff as well helped us out very happily. We had breakfast for 2 days and there is a variety of food, from a Croissant to cornflakes. Absolutely loved the place!”

“We had excellent service from Linda. The furniture is really high quality and the staff were very helpful and knowlegable. We had time, space and help to make our decision. We were guided through options and felt we were being helped to find the sofa that meets our needs and our budget, there was no pressure or upselling. A really positive experience. There is a long lead time on delivery, but we feel that has been clearly communicated to us in an upfront way. We know how to get in touch if we need to and what to expect regarding communications during manufacture and delivery. We are really looking forward to getting our lovely sofas.”

“I always enjoy the pizza, but i want to comment on the customer service i received. I am at a friends house and accidentally placed an order to my own home. I called watford dominos and asked them to change the address. I spoke to Renu who kindly advised me that the watford branch did not cover the area i am in. She called the bushey branch for me and placed the order there. Very efficient and friendly.”

“Great service delivered by the guys at Watford DFS. I was initially greeted by Humza who introduced me to Kalpa. She said she would assist me on purchasing the sofas I wanted. Straight away she offered me a cup of tea or coffee. She told me to take a seat on the sofa I was looking to buy and she was going to get my coffee and get a tablet so she could order my sofa. Have to say Kalpa's customer service was absolutely amazing. She was very polite and engaging. Explained everything in detail, showing me different quality of fabric which I could choose from. Just felt really reassured with everything she was saying. It didn't sound like a generic sales pitch, but very personal taking into account everything I was saying. Explained the process from delivery, finance and the warranty of the sofa. Honestly I could go on. Just a great team of people who just made everything simple. From Humza, Kalpa and Brian, it just felt I knew them a lot longer than just meeting them on the day. They are a great asset to DFS and we need people like them more in all retail. I'll definitely be coming back again or recommending them to friends and family. Date of experience: 28 January 2023”

“I think this place is amazing. Similarly I am shocked to see the negative reviews on here. The salmon is always top quality and melt in your mouth. I order salmon nigiri, sashimi, maki, avocado and salmon roll and the teriyaki chicken and udon noodles are fab too. Don’t believe the negative reviews.”

“Ordered from here for a party and the pizzas were really delicious and great quality. They were ready for collection when I asked and were piping hot. My guests enjoyed the pizzas and asked where they were from as they tasted really yummy. Will order again to try out more of the menu in the future.”
