“Fantastic staff. Can’t rate the service highly enough. We had an incident (daughter choked) and they were so kind and supportive to make sure we were all okay. They went above and beyond with our breakfast requests (I have some picky eaters!) and the food was delicious. Will definitely be back. So nice to have breakfast for lunch too.”

“Nice cafe with large inside seating area and a few outside tables close to the main road. Large bifold windows in one section with seating next to them is a nice touch. Reasonable prices... coffee, cake and cooked food available. Limited parking outside, but close to town centre parking and on street parking close by.”

“Just back from a fantastic meal for husbands birthday. Food was amazing one of the best meals we have had out in a long time. The restaurant is very relaxed and welcoming. Service was very friendly and swift. A nice touch in the bathroom; a little wooden box with free feminine hygiene products in was really thoughtful. Will definitely be returning”

“We are still in lock down, so I didn't go in, so it's difficult to give a good review. But we ordered at the window (2 bacon baps with brown source and 2 teas), waited outside for 5 minutes (my wife was complaining about something or other) and other the baps were ready, we eat them outside. It was all very covid safe and the baps were lovely (to be honest, its difficult not to do a good bacon bap....). It will be interesting to go back when it fully reopens.”

“Staff were nice and pleasant. The pub had quite a relaxed atmosphere almost like a coffee shop rather than a pub. Lots of tables outside although I think these are shared with the businesses adjoining the pub. The Guinness was excellent as was the Late Red (Shepherd Neame)”

“These guys are an institution - food is always fresh - always so pleasant - and offering a bit of fresh doner while we waited was a treat!!! Go here at least a few times a month - today didn't disappoint!”

“Delicious food. Decent portion sizes and quality is always consistent. We are pescatarian and there are some lovely choices. The Szechuan style King prawns are really nice. Really recommend this takeaway, it’s worth the drive to pick up.”

“the service was amazing. Spoke to a lovely girl on the phone and it came so fast and still hot! Great food and delivery driver. Our order was slighlty wrong the first delivery but we told them and they sent a free dish of the correct meal and free drink with a super cute 'sorry' note. Couldnt be more pleased with the food, the rice and sauce is to die for and chicken such good quality. Would reccomend salmon teriyaki with brown rice and chicken katsu. “First experience of dining here. Was taken by my daughter and her hubby to be as a "treat". Was greeted immediately upon entering by a friendly face and shown straight to our table. Menu's were immediately provided with drinks orders taken efficiently. The courses, from starter to main, were absolutely delicious! Cooked to perfection and nicely presented. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Would absolutely love to return and DEFINITELY will given the opportunity. Highly recommend!”
