“I went here on a Saturday night to catch up with some friends I hadn't seen in a while. The atmosphere was nice and quiet, something people forget to appreciate. The food was as expected my only criticism was the menu was varied but items that were a particular type of meal weren't varied enough, the calzone had two options? They tasted great but would have liked a few different flavours.”

“I have ordered many times from there since October 2019, at least 10 times. Great chicken tikka balti, bhuna, naga and vindaloo, keema biryani and all the starters I've tried. Excellent takeaway with great consistency and always delivery on time or earlier. Looking at the previous reviews all I can say is give it another chance because definitely this takeaway is not at all what you have described.”

“What a beautiful experience, from start to finish me and my family were treated less like customers and more like... Family. The excellent service was complimented by authentic and delicious Italian food. There were a couple of order miscommunications, but they were resolved quickly and comfortably. Whilst it was a little noisy at first, this was quickly drowned out by a beautiful musical performance from a solo artist creating a unique experience I didn't think could be found in Brentwood. 3 courses with drinks for just £30ish per head for a group of 5, I can't wait to come back. If you like good food and good company, you need to check out Tarantinos.”

“This was probably the best place to have authentic Thai food. We ordered a Tom Yum and their signature Beef dish with some rice and the flavours were spot on. The family running this business are so friendly and lovely, and the decoration is so cute and gives the place such a comfortable feeling unlike a chain restaurant. I really do recommend going to this restaurant at least once to experience the atmosphere and delicious food!”

“Lovely pub restaurant. Cosy bar at the front with fires to make it extra cosy. We went to the rear dining room with views of the garden, and it was delightful the watching the birds, the squirrels and the fallow deer visiting the garden. Nice choice of traditional British favourites. I had beef and Guinness pudding which was tasty and also light, perfect. Very friendly and helpful staff.”

“Our first visit was tonight here with my partner. Food was freshly made amazing flavours. You may need more plate to fill you up but absolutely worth it. I think you pay for a great experience. Service was absolutely friendly caring by the two lady who took care of us. Drinks were nice too. My partner loved the little wine jug. Atmosphere was nice warm cozy and friendly. I can highly recommend to anyone who just want to have a nice evening and don’t go there just to complain about every little thing!”

“Only popped in for a drink and to feed the child. Honestly the quality of the children's dinner has definitely made this a place I'm coming back too. It's a propa old pub with some characters in there. Staff were so friendly (a special thanks to the lady that booked my daughter under 'princess') Really warm welcoming and friendly pub plus the food was excellent. Everyone there was having a good time. Thank you for this one off visit as I'll definitely be back with the family.”

“If you are looking for an indian restaurant look no further as Ginger Spice is clearly the best. Decorated beautifully with a large comfortable bar area to relax whilst having pre dinner drinks.The waiters are so friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The food was all lovely. The flavours of the spices with the beautiful presentation made every mouthful wonderful. It was a totally different experience for me as I normally choose a sauce based curry but I decided to opt for fish and king prawns and it was so fully of flavour and the fish remained delicate. My husband chose the salmon main and the spice added to a lovely salmon fillet. We were not rushed and had a great interaction with the waiters. They made sure all 10 of us were served together by using a restuarent dessert trolley to bring all of our dishes at once. The only disappointment was another unnecessarily noisy table of 10 next to us which made conversation difficult whilst they were at their table. But that unfortunately happens sometimes nowadays. The main restuarent was much quieter with curved booth setting to give more privacy which is ideal for smaller groups. I can recommend with confidence.”
