“This store is local to us, very convenient as it is open till late and stocks most essentials plus some really good quality foods. There are always price offers which I like to take advantage of and Co-op source their fish and other products to support sustainability. I am sure they will strive to make further changes to help tackle climate change. Well done staff, keep up the good works!”

“Open on Sundays in December so finally managed to get in to this café which has had such a great reputation since it opened - and I can confirm it's justified. Good menu choice, delicious food, friendly and efficient service.”

“We've only been here twice so far, but we love it. The staff are lovely and really responsive, the atmosphere is perfect (not too quiet that you have to worry about a loud child) and the food is delicious. We've tried different things and the flavours have been very yummy! Plus, love the colouring in for kids! Will be back again soon!”

“Delicious Mediterranean food. Really busy with a fun vibe. Great service. There are loads of small and large plates to share. Fish, humus and pita, loads of Vege options. All delicious. For those who want to truly indulge the chips are amazing and the burnt basque cheesecake is heavenly. I was not counting calories this time!!!”

Try the stir fry Chinese vegetables - and the veg spring rolls - only fresh veg used, colourful & tasty. Mouth-wateringly good! And the king prawns in noodles! “Enjoyed a tasty late lunch at The Gate with a choice of the tables dotted around the many delightfully warm open fires and log burning stoves. The welcome was as warm as the burning fires as was the surprisingly spicy Cajun chicken burger! Despite being sat in the end closest to the busy road; we couldn’t hear the traffic at all and really enjoyed watching the endless stupidity of many drivers through the sash window as we enjoyed our lunch. The pub doesn’t take bookings at all and given the carpark is always so full and chaotic it has always put us off visiting, but a break in the chaos gave us the opportunity see why it is always so manic; The delicious meals, the toasty fires, friendly team and fair pricing. There is an abundance of tables to choose from with a mix of smaller ‘rooms’ and larger areas like the conservatory. As it happens there is more parking available nearby that perhaps isn’t such a war zone!”

“Expensive but delicious, sweet and sour prawn balls and vegetarian hor devours. Only suggestion is to have slightly larger steam holes as it was a bit steamed by the time it arrived. Will visit again for delivery order, ordered on Google Just Eat. Due to price though wouldn't be too often.”

“Don’t usually leave reviews often but they never disappoint! I always get the shredded bbq chicken burrito and it’s the tastiest burrito I’ve ever had! Everything is perfect and so filling.”

“A quick dinner turned into a lovely surprise. We sat down at this Turkish restaurant, expecting standard quality food. To our big surprise the food was above the average for this kind of venue. The interior is grand and wonderful, something that doesn’t always translate to great tasting food. Not at Deraliye. The food was superb. Adana kebab, lamb shish, calamari, hummus and all the rest of our food was very delicious. I have 2 suggestions to the management, though. Less potatoes in the octopus salad and add Künefe to the dessert menu. I was very happy with this gem of a Turkish restaurant. Noted down in my “to be repeated” list. Obviously, highly recommended.”
