“Stumbled upon this place by happy chance. Delicious small pasta plates ideal to share, with very distinct flavours. The Ravenna was especially excellent - simple ingredients done brilliantly. The venue is a bit small and so gets pretty loud, and you'd best book to be seated.”

“Lovely local Italian restaurant, very friendly service patiently explains and show me different amaro they have. Freshness of pasta caught our attention, truffle ravioli and wild boar tagliatelle are my favourites. Not to forget that exquisitely looking pot of Tiramisu, very inviting. Pricing is decent with a bottle of wine between 4 adults, we shared 3 desserts between us it came to around £40 each.”

“A newly opened addition to Hackney Wick on Fish Island. Lanterna is a welcome addition to the area. They serve good pizza with a wide selection of starters/sides to enjoy with your meal. The drinks selection is excellent for beer, wine and cocktails. It is dog and family friendly. There is a small deli area at the back for your coffee and pastries for take away.”

“Fantastic staff. Can’t rate the service highly enough. We had an incident (daughter choked) and they were so kind and supportive to make sure we were all okay. They went above and beyond with our breakfast requests (I have some picky eaters!) and the food was delicious. Will definitely be back. So nice to have breakfast for lunch too.”

“Definitely an authentic rice noodle place. The taste is just right in seasoning - not too salty yet not too flavourless. I particularly like the pickles they put along side with the noodles - exactly the same as the dish is served in its original place! I would say it’s probably one of the best rice noodle places you could find in London. Let alone the service is excellent as well. Recommend the pork rib noodles. It’s tender, soft, and scrumptious”

“Really lovely coffee shop. Poached eggs and salmon on toast was tasty, generous portions too. Great chilled atmosphere inside and loads of seating outside, great views of the river. Clean, great comfortable seating. Quick service. Toilets.”
