“I've been going to Decor Scene for as long as I've lived in Rickmansworth (17yrs) which i think says it all. However I'm leaving a review today as they went above and beyond. I needed a rather specialist tool which they didn't have in stock but after looking through their toolbox, they found something which they leant me and it did the job! Thank you.”

All under one roof and with no John Lewis at Watford, Lords is a mini version, but ample of choice in most things for the house..be it gardening supplies, kitchen ware, cookware BBQs, paints, DIY tools, storage etc..and you get to support the high street shops..what more can one ask. Also, certain items one wants to browse and purchase, so online isn't a choice all the time.”

“Unavu kitchen catered few of our family events since last year. The food was authentic and delicious. Recently, we were pleased to have unavu kitchen on my husband's bday party. All our guests were enjoyed the freshly made hoppers and kottu rotti. Their service was excellent and staffs were very friendly. We will definitely hire unavu kitchen for more events in the future.”

“Putting in a new kitchen is stressful at the best of times, but we found that everyone at Timberfusion made the experience seem easy. They were all so patient with us and their help and guidance was invaluable. Over the years since having our kitchen fitted, Timberfusion have put a new Corian top on our kitchen table and made us a freestanding unit to match the rest of the kitchen. Seven years later we are still enjoying our fabulous kitchen!”

“I moved to My Hair Social when it opened, having been a client of Sarah’s at a previous salon. In the past I have found salons to be intimidating and have not enjoyed going, however I now really look forward to getting my hair done. My Hair Social is a friendly and welcoming salon with a lovely atmosphere. Sarah is fantastic, she has a great eye for colour and mixes me up the perfect shades of copper to suit my colouring. I get sooo many compliments on my hair! I really recommend.”

“Great pizza, great pasta and love the calamari. Service is always pleasant and your treated more like family than just a customer. The owner and head chef even comes out to make sure you’ve enjoyed everything and food is up to satisfaction. Highly recommend if in the area. Oh and don’t forget to try the tiramisu”

“We stayed there whilst attending our niece's wedding. The rooms were clean snd luxurious. The staff were attentive and customer service was excellent. The staff responded promptly to questions concerning missing items. Breakfast buffet was delicious and extensive, as part of the wedding party we had our own exclusive dining area.”

“What a Gem of a place. Seemingly, in the middle of nowhere. Arrived by taxi from Uxbridge, booked a table prior to a evening's entertainment cabaret show at the local Memorial hall, "When we are Married". The Black Horse, is warm and inviting, we stopped though not long enough to get a drink as Franco the host ushered us through to the restaurant and upgraded our table seeing that we were quite burly lads. We took a prime table with surround views of the entire establishment. Was warm and cosy with the din of family and friends in full conversation and laughter. For aperitif we had a Negroni and my brother had a Aperol spritz and a bottle of white wine with the mains. I had a Slow cooked Pork belly with Savoy cabbage and dauphinoise and an additional dauphinoise, an absolutely and fabulous meal the entire meal was delightful. Will cherish the fabulous moments and foodie memories (yum-yum). Staff were very accommodating and Chef was as pretty as her food delicious. I wanted to stay, though sadly had to go.”

“Having just finished a 10 mile walk, i was famished. This place was a gem i found by accident. My friend and i asked if they had a table as the place was rammed. The very efficient lady in charge was able to squeeze us in if we promised to be done in an hour as the table was reserved. Food looked gorgeous but i just opted for a snack which was dirty fries with beef and cheese”

“Owner always greet you and friendly, quiet enviroment during day and busy at night. Thai food served here as Joy of Thai restaurant. Good Thai foods and reasonably cheap with portion you can share if you are not that hungry. Lunch served at noon at bar area and evening at top floor separated with bar which busy every evening. During COVID the area set a giant tippy in the garden.”

“Delicious dirty burger has it all...loaded with bacon, Stilton, mushrooms, tomatoes, lettuce, gherkin, onion rings, hunk of juicy meat, freshly made slaw and fat chips. Great service and beers! This place was a wonderful find, to sit in the autumnal sun.”

Hidden out of the way so I would've never of known it existed! A treasure trove of furniture and other house stuff inc clothes hidden in Ricky! Staff very helpful!”

“We recently had a very comfortable 2 night stay at this pub/hotel. Tfood was excellent and reasonably priced. Our room was well appointed and comfortable, The location was excellent in a quiet and very pretty Village but with easy access to the M25 and surrounding areas.”

“We booked the Coach & Horses for a wake after my mum's funeral. The staff were very friendly, well organised and helpful and served drinks on our arrival really efficently. The buffet for 40 people was delicious and plentiful. We could not have asked for a better experience to make a difficult day memorable. Thanks to the whole team.”

“This is an absolutely fantastic pub for Sunday dinner. The meal was very well prepared and the staff were friendly and answered all of our food allergy questions. I had a traditional Sunday roast which included all the relevant trimmings. The draft beer was also excellent. I would most certainly come back again. This restaurant accepts tips when paying by card.”
