Day out in Richmond

“I took my partner here for afternoon tea on his birthday. We had an excellent time. The staff - Roxanne and Chris - went out of their way to welcome us and to make the experience feel special. The afternoon tea itself was fantastic with beautiful freshly prepared sandwiches and fresh warm scones (baked in-house). Highly recommend for dinner, lunch or a special occasion - we’ll be back soon!”

“Highly recommend! We booked lunch for my mum's 60th birthday recently, the staff were so attentive & even played along with a surprise we had planned (one of my brothers has been living in Mexico and came home for the birthday, the FB team dressed him in staff uniform & had him serve our drinks - I'm not sure if she's forgiven us.) The food, house wine & cocktails were all delicious! Our photos don't do it justice, but there were clean plates all round. Big thank you to TFB team!”

One staff member named Nat was so friendly & patient as they explained how I could use the Pizza Express app and claim rewards - please pass on our thanks! Also noted how clean the restaurant was, it was practically spotless! As always, food was delicious! Certainly recommend the Romana pizzas. “My first visit to Paris was a present from a friend who felt that I was in need of renovation! I have not had my hair cut and coloured by anyone else since that first experience over five years ago. The cuts are superb, easy to manage and flattering, and the colour just right; natural but much more subtly alive than my own natural. “Just undergone a complete refurb. Warm and inviting retaining its traditional pub feel. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a sandwich and chips which were well prepared and surprisingly filling. A nice stoping place when passing through or shopping. I'm sure we'll be back when next in Richmond. Well done”

“It’s a decent hotel if you’re in the area . Parking 8£ get there early , I drive a pick up and parking was sufficient! Chap at the front desk is brilliant and helpful . Location is brilliant for the area , card machine wasn’t working at the restaurant but we sorted that and they were very helpful. Didn’t eat any food but the beer was decent ! Room was fine for the price , it was clean and bedding is good ! Fire alarm went off for some reason but could just be a fault”

“Beautifully cool and clean outdoor pool. Well maintained and staffed with 2 lifeguards. You can change outside or use the indoor rooms, and there's a cafe inside for afterwards. Numbers are limited so you'll need to book well in advance by setting up an online account for each person, and there is a waiting list function for full sessions. Public sessions offer 3 lanes (slow, med, fast) and capacity is per lane. Despite the hassle of setting up an account and the somewhat curt receptionist, the swimming experience is very relaxed. Highly recommended on a hot day - but book a week ahead.”
