Angélina Jandolo Dance - Islington
“I really enjoyed the adult beginner class at the studio. I was a bit nervous as it was my first ballet class ever, but felt very at ease - the teacher was lovely, very patient and friendly. I enjoyed that we were a small group as well so she had time to look at our postures. I definitely would recommend this class.”
Chisenhale Dance Space
“Really nice space for filming a small dance clip :) And it also looks amazing.”
Royal Academy of Dance
“What a great place. Excellent cafe too and a chance to see a famous ballerina.”
Pineapple Dance Studios
“Easily the best dance studios in London and probably the World. Have been sending dancers to classes here for over 20 years. Great friendly and edgy atmosphere. All studios with mirrirs, barre, sound systems and pianos. Varying sizes across 4 floors. Literally every type of dance class from beginners ballet and jazz to West end companies and reggaeton. Studios can be hired for very reasonable prices but they are busy. Classes range in price and you can join as a member. Highly recommended.”
Greenwich Dance
“I’ve attended various events at Greenwich Dance and found each one singularly impressive. I love the building, the staff are well informed, professional and hugely helpful and the facilities seem to cater well to the broad range of activity and performance provided by this characteristic and requisite studio in the charitable arts. My wife and I look forward to our next outing. Keep up the great work!”
Base Dance Studios
“Massive variety of classes, including well known folk you'll recognise from other London dance studios. Classes are often 90 minutes (at cheaper prices!), so you get more of a chance to learn the choreo. People pay before class (no door fee, just class fee) so teachers don't have to stop teaching to collect money from people. Since opening they've fixed the remaining bits and pieces - there are benches in change rooms now and mirrors in the studios don't get misty any more! No showers though.”
Kids In Charge
“My kids have been attending the after school club for several months now and they love it. The main questions they ask are Why have you picked us up so early and Why can't we go every day. The facilities are great with loads of internal and external space. Comms with the team is good and the ability to add extra evenings online is helpful.”
London Academy of Gymnastics and Dance (Head Office)
“LAGAD are by far the most professional and experienced team I have worked with as my school gymnastics provider. The coaches are knowledgeable, enthusiastic and the children always leave their classes having had some serious FUN! Great communication and customer service. Highly recommended.”
Dance Works Studio

South London Dance School
“SLDS is a wonderful dance school! We enrolled our daughter when she was 5 and there she stayed until now, at the age of 18 (it was at a different venue then, under a different name). She experienced all genres that were offered and excelled at most. She took part in several of their shows and presentation of class work; as well as competing in some dance festivals, where she won several medals. She wasn't the most outgoing child but these experiences helped her mature into a determined young woman who is responsible and disciplined. It also gave her a life long love of exercise! Through the 13 years she was there she made friends and had a fantastic time. She counts present and past teachers as her friends as well. After a period of indecision she decided against pursuing a career in dance, but we are sure she will carry on dancing wherever life takes her. When researching universities, dance was always a consideration. And talking universities, the several advanced level exam certificates she holds now add extra UCAS points for her applications. I highly recommend SLDS to anyone who would wish to introduce their child to dance. Thank you to all the teachers and to Miss Zoe for their amazing dedication. C&J”
All Saints Centre
“Great centre, large in size, with different rooms and activities/clubs/groups/classes for everyone and most things on offer. Lots of leaflets in the large entrance hallway and notice boards. Outside space which is fenced off from the road.”
Theatre in the woods
“What a lovely setting for an opera house. In the theatre itself, the seats are comfortable and have great sightlines in the stalls. There's a large orchestra pit and a large stage too. The theatre is a work in progress, and there are still facilities to build. But don't let that put you off! There's enough there for your visit to be comfortable and worthwhile. I saw Gods of the Game today and it was top notch and as good as any opera I've seen in the West End. It's a bit off the beaten track, so you'll need a car to get there unfortunately, but there's plenty of parking and it's not a long drive from South or West London.”
All Stars Fun Disco
“My son had an amazing party with All Stars, he loved all the dances and games.”
Stagecoach Chorleywood and Rickmansworth - classes in Chorleywood and Rickmansworth
“I was a student at stagecoach for about 10 years ! I remember starting out as a really nervous 4 year old with terrible stage fright to now being 16 and perusing the arts and wanting to do it professionally and going to my dream school. kitty and Lisa are both so supportive they have helped me grow my confidence and i wouldn’t be where i am now if it wasn't for them, there kindness and support has genuinely meant the world to me !”

“Oustanding teaching, ever positive, loving and encouraging teachers. Great communication with parents. All very well organised. Our daughter loves the classes!”

“Leila and her team are truly amazing. Each week they make everyone in the class feel at great ease and all the children come out of the class happy and knowing that they are all improving week by week. The children are all given great opportunities to develop their confidence and dancing techniques by doing dance exams and competitions. Leila takes interest in all the children and families and is very supportive to every individual and their own dancing journeys. I cannot recommend the dancing enough!! Thank you so much guys x”
