“I bought a used Mercedes GLA 2 weeks ago for my daughter but found out later when it was delivered that the cigarette lighter was not working . She wanted to connect her dashcam to that socket but could not do it because it was faulty . I contacted several garages like Halfords , Kwikfit but none could help because they said they don’t have an auto electrician on site . My car warranty company suggested another garage called Courtwood car services in Uxbridge where l live. I contacted the garage and they suggested taking my car in the following Saturday and they can look at it when they will be less busy. My daughter took the car in to the garage and was told to have a coffee in the Chimes shopping precinct while they checked the faulty cigarette socket. Within a short time she was contacted and the faulty lighter socket was fixed. As we suspected it was just a blown fuse as no other parts of the car was affected electrically. We were charged a norminal amount for the work done. We were impressed with the friendliness and professional ism of the person who dealt with us even though we were not regular customers. This garage will have our business in future and the potential for more business as we have 3 cars in our family . In times of need and when other garages can’t help, do try Courtwood car services .”

“Wow! Amazing place! I found these guys honest and old fashioned, not after my money but after giving me the truth. It is a piece of old Hanwell, and worth it just to see the shop's grey parrot! When he said "Hello" in a husky voice I jumped out of my skin! Apparently he also says "everything for a tenner" but he didn't say that to me. Merely "What's your name?" also in a low voice for a parrot. The till is an antique. A quirky shop with old-fashioned expertise, and they know their stuff. The workshop is right there so they do the diagnosis there and then.”

Keith took the time to explain what the was required from a service but also how much that would cost. Prices are very reasonable. I picked up the car today and Keith was on hand to talk me through what had been done to the car but also how I can respond to future service alerts on the vehicle. “We stayed here for just one night. Beds are comfy rooms are clean and tidy. Staff on reception was also lovely. Breakfast food was lovely but there was one member of staff (man) as the girls was so polite made you feel like you was an inconvenience breakfast was served between 8-10am we got there about 9.25am and he made us feel like we had got there at 10am. We had to wait for a table which was not a problem but when we was seated the table was not set up properly we had to keep on asking for things Milk spoons the girl realized there was no side plates and we had to ask for our toast twice. Maybe it was a busy morning”

“Great pub on the Uxbridge Road, its spacious inside and has nice shaded seating outside. Staff are friendly and the quality of food is really good especially the pizzas. The Vine also does pub quizzes and shows sports on the TV. Good selection of drinks also offered. Definitely worth a visit!”
