“Great simple home style food and warm welcoming atmosphere. The service is friendly, prompt and attentive. Everything very nicely cooked and prepared. Comfortable seating and a spotless toilet. The prices are incredibly reasonable. Its a place where old friends and close family go to meet, eat and talk. Cartons is a rare gem in this slick, overpriced eating out elsewhere around us. Bonus: no alcohol! Cartons promotes community and love that emanates from its owner Ben and pemeates to all who walk through Carton's door. Ben knows and speaks love to his food, staff and guests. We need to make sure we all tell Ben how much we value Ben and his contribution to our Stanmore community. Many of his most appreciative guests do not use social media so I am speaking up here on their behalf! Did you know that Ben will also cater for your afternoon tea events? Recently Ben provided a wonderful sandwich and cake spread for my fathers 96th birthday and my parents platinum wedding celebration tea, for 20 guests two days in a row. Highly enjoyed and now highly recommended. Ben we love you and need you. We know you are feeling tired and unwell right now. We all are wishing you the very best.
