“A big thank you to Robert from Robert’s Fine Jewellery based on the Upper Level of the Belfry Shopping Centre. I needed my watch battery replaced only to discover the back had been cross threaded when it was previously replaced by a jewellers in Kingston Upon Thames. Robert was excellent in making sure the job got done, and sent it to a watch repairer. This only took a couple of days and Robert also steam cleaned and buffed out the scratches on the strap. I can honestly say the watch hasn’t looked so good in years and everything cost only £15 so can’t recommend this jewellers highly enough.”

“We've had such a great experience designing my engagement ring with Samba! He is very friendly and relaxed. He worked very hard to find me the diamond and ring style I absolutely loved. He patiently answered all our questions and iterated through many versions of the design with us, guiding us away from bad decisions and explaining any details we wanted to know. He did not let me settle - we went over the details and iterated over the design until I was absolutely sure I was happy :) And boy I was - I love the result, and I doubt I would have had such a good experience or even such a beautiful ring had I gone anywhere else :') I would highly recommend going to him - he is very good at his job, you'll be in great hands with him!”

“I have been coming to THS this year Feb, 2022 and found out that this is an awesome spot to look around and then spoil yourself with a quality ring of your liking. The rings on display are all different sizes but the owner Muhti will be able to fit and adjust it to the size of your finger. I am impressed with the humble service; no explanation no hard pitch and no salesman pitch, I guess the owner is busy making quality rings, despite that - he is very warm and approachable. After sending an initial enquiry, Monika came back to us straight away and was available to meet with us a few days later. “I contacted Isabelle to have a ring made for an Opal which is a very beautiful stone but was difficult to set because of the organic shape. Isabelle had great ideas and this was no challenge for her, she made a beautiful modem ring which is timeless and one I will pass on to my daughter. “I had the most wonderful experience with Shimell and Madden; Emma and Luke took on the challenge of creating a beautiful and unique bespoke engagement ring for my partner, using an heirloom piece of jewellery. From start to finish, the process was enjoyable and stress free. My initial email was answered so quickly, and I was able to go in for an appointment very soon after, with Emma fitting nicely around my working hours. From the initial consultation, I felt so involved in the design process, with no pressure to go one way or another. From the initial sketches drawn up at our consultation, Emma sent me some mock ups and was 100% transparent about prices. The images were so realistic that they really helped to bring what we'd spoken about to life. Emma listened to my suggestions and feedback, despite my wanting a mixture of two designs and seamlessly integrated them together, to create the final piece. Then all I had to do was choose the additional stones and wait for the magic to happen. I was advised of the wait period for the ring to be commissioned, and was thrilled to hear that it was ready bang on time. When I saw the ring, I was speechless- it was just as the plan had shown, and was such a unique and beautiful piece. When I finally popped the question, my fiancé was blown away by the uniqueness and touched that the ring had been made from a sentimental ring, in a way that was just for her. Everybody comments that it is unlike anything that they have every seen before, that it suits my fiancé completely, and they love the story of how it was made. I really can't recommend Shimell and Madden enough - their design, craftsmanship and professionalism made the most daunting question I have ever asked in my life so much easier. Resizing was a breeze, and their aftercare offer really fills me with so much confidence. I can't thank you guys enough!”
