“Best red curry I've had in the UK. The "chicken travelling" starter gives KFC a run for their money for great fried chicken. This place is a local gem! Food seems slightly better dining in than take-out.”

“This is possibly the best park in Greater London - great for dogs and active kids. Lots of wide open green space, woodland copses, tree-lined avenues, a small formal garden, a lake with ducks and geese, and the River Wandle flowing through (shallow enough for even small children to have safe fun). There's also a children's playground and cafe. It's everything I want from a park.”

“Kings Diner-Cafe De Niro has a special place in my heart, the staff are just the friendliest, most helpful men that walking in there is like going to a friends home and nothing is ever too much trouble. The breakfast servings are big, platter size, the latte is the best I've had and the meal is absolute value for the low cost. It is not a fancy afternoon tea in your finery type of place, its a come as you are hearty big meal eat and go. A Saturday doesn't begin properly without my Kings Diner-Cafe De Nero number 5 breakfast and latte first!”

“Edit 11 April: just ordered from Tuk Tuk for the third time and omg whomever was cooking tonight, kudos to them! Absolutely incredible and took me right back to Thailand! Loved the Tom yum rice and the chilli and basil pork stir fry with coconut rice!!! Holy WOW!!! 5 star and the best Thai takeaway in the area! Ordered drunken noodles, pad Thai and tom yum fried rice from here and I have to say, whilst it’s one of the best Thai’s in the area (Purley is seriously lacking), it could still be better. The pad Thai was lovely with lovely large prawns but the sauce tasted like it was from a jar rather than authentic tamarind. The drunken noodles were smokey and didn’t taste like authentic pad kee mow, but the Tom yum fried rice, in spite of not being fully authentic, was amazing! Really good flavours and good sized prawns. Overall, it tastes like someone not Thai, making Thai food. Apologies if this is incorrect, but just the way it came across in the cooking. Yes, I would definitely order from Tuk Tuk again as it was mega tasty, but it’s personally not authentic enough to satisfy my Thai craving.”

“Order through just eat and found the food extremely flavourful & fresh. Good portion sizes and well packed. Ordered the Lamb Beyti & ARNAVUT CIGERI Which is lamb liver. The bread was also warm, soft n fresh Very impressive. I loved the food.”

“Nice food and super warm family! I got lock out at night and I had nothing with me (not even my mobile phone and wallet) but they allowed me to sit inside the restaurant as it was freezing outside and offered me a free big dish of fried noodles that I couldn't even finish. Since I have visited this shop for three times only andI have just recently arrived in the UK not long ago and still do not familiar the country too much. They helped me called the locksmith and got it sorted at the end. Without them I may end up with a worse scenario than this!”

“Probably the cleanest Indian shop I have been to lately. The amount of goods is amazing. They have a chilled veggie section which is great as it means more fresh veggies. The parking on the front is plenty. The produce is reasonably priced as well!”

“Just got back from a week in Lake Garda at the Savoy Palace Hotel. Newmarkets four organised coach trips were first rate with perfect punctuality, excellent guides and super coaches and drivers. Venice was the highlight! Their end of the holiday we couldn’t criticise. The hotel was of an excellent standard with a good breakfast but the evening half board meals were tiny portions and disappointing. Staff were nice but this hotel caters very much to a German market and we definitely felt like second class guests. Easy jet however were an absolute disgrace with a 2 and a half hour delay out of Gatwick and 1 hour forty five minute delay on the return! This carrier are a bunch of incompetent amateurs. NEVER again with a budget carrier and Newmarket need to drop them pronto! The flight is only 1 hour and 40 mins as it’s only 650 miles to Verona yet we left home at 2pm for a 6pm flight and didn’t arrive at our hotel until 01.30am which is frankly ridiculous! Catching any plane should be like catching a bus! Airline travel has gone seriously backwards in the last 30 years! Next year we will cruise from Southampton or holiday in the UK as we have no patience left for airlines. This was not Newmarkets fault however and we would definitely recommend them as a holiday company. Lake Garda and all of Northern Italy is simply stunning and highly recommended as an adult holiday. Holiday would have been 10/10 if it were not for sleezy Jet!”
