Pizza Pilgrims Finsbury Park
● Closed“This is my second time here. There was five of us and the metre pizza was more than enough. Gloria is really a very nice person she welcomed us and our order took 20 minutes. During this time we were asked if everything was ok twice. The place is really nice. The staff are excellent the pizza was a 10/10 pizza. İt will be on my regular list of dine out places in London. You also get free tap water. And they do have customer toilets.”

Enoteca Turi
● Closed“Well established, excellent food and great service. Unusually the atmosphere is more cosy and private downstairs, one can have a conversation without straining to hear those at your table. Very good range of starters, pasta and mains. Unfortunately, there wasn't room for dessert, but the next table's selection looked great. Extensive wine list.”

OKA
● Closed“Delicious Japanese food! One of the bests in London for the quality, price, ambiance, and service. Sashimi is fresh, rolls are flavorful and creative. Good sake too. Highly recommended!”
-
Tokyo Diner
● Open“Very awesome and casual traditional Japanese diner in the corner of the busy China town district. If you’re looking for less of a noisy environment this is the perfect place! Plenty of seating through 3 floors and customers are seated spaciously throughout. Lovely views of the lanterns and the high street. Staff was very helpful and polite. They were able to recommend us things and guide us through the menu well. We preferred katsu curry tofu soba, katsu egg sauce with pork and rice bed and seaweed salad. Everything was empty when we left the table! The only sad thing is that they didn’t have takeout boxes. Beware that they also don’t take tip and have a cashless policy. Excellent place and highly recommend!”

Teta's
● Closed“Sublimely authentic Lebanese food. There are items on the menu (like the bamieh) that I hadn't had in years. And having it at Teta's brought back a flood of memories. Love this place, and wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for plainly good and authentic Middle Eastern food.”

Music & Beans Haringey
● Closed“Brunch here was the highlight of my weekend! Spoilt for choice with all my favourite dishes on the menu. Great coffee, tasty food & excellent service. You can also buy a sourdough loaf that's made freshly on site by their expert baker. It's a unique & special place that's also Covid safe. The whole team are welcoming & friendly. It's definitely worth dropping in if you're local or a special trip if you're looking for a change from your regular cafe.”

Mestizo Mexican Market
● Closed“Great place! I only wish I'd known about it sooner. You can get all you need here to whip up super tasty and authentic Mexican dishes. Salsa Verde, ready made tortillas, corn flour including the blue corn flour, mole sauce (From Oaxaca), ancho and pasilla dried chili's, cute gifts and jewelry, ready made tamales in the freezer, and lots of Mexican candy, soda/beverages and so much more!! I will definitely come back here when I've run out of Mexican ingredients to buy more here and continue to develop my Mexican cooking skills.”

Old Oak Community & Childrens Centre
● Closed76 Braybrook Street, London W12 0AP, United Kingdom“Honestly not sure what I would have done without this place for the last 5 years. I've been going to the Stay and Play since my 2 little ones were new born until they went to school. I've been to countless classes including a first aid course and speech and language class for my daughter. Halloween and Christmas parties. All provided for free! We went to the London Aquarium for a very good price. We have been to the Summer Fun Days. I have hired the hall for a birthday party at a good price. The list goes on and on. Chantal and Muna are absolutely brilliant workers and people. Definitely best stay and play in H&F!”

The Playground Theatre
● Closed“I saw James Purdy's 'the Paradise Circus' on Saturday 20 October. Wowza what an experience. This is a beautiful, powerful redemption story. As you watch it in the round, with a magical circus setting, you are pulled into 1920's small-town America. The hugely talented cast give strong performances and sing and play musical instruments. If you are a fan of early jazz (the Chicago Migration movement 1904 to 1930) you will adore The Paradise Circus music. It was composed by Darren Berry - of Penguin Cafe fame, he also performs with Salim Sai. Children aged 10 years+ will be enthralled by this play. DON'T MISS IT!”
