“Went to the Growler stop for first time last night. Great, helpful and pleasant staff. Lovely welcoming atmosphere. Very extensive beer menu that the staff will help you with. We sampled quite a few across the range, pale ales, ipa’s, bitters and stouts and they were all lovely. We will be returning and next time our wives said they’ll come with us and sample their gins :-)”

So good, really friendly big portions, don't expect cheap this is a small local business so every penny spent here is money well spent to a family run business. Love it I will be back again soon!”

“I used to be a regular drinker at the Pied Bull before moving away. I returned this weekend and was very pleased to see that the place is still as welcoming and friendly as ever, with fab staff, delicious food and plenty of drinks options. It's dog friendly so my two cockapoos enjoyed the visit too, with lots of fuss from the welcoming staff and even a treat or two! I will definitely be visiting again when I'm next in the area!”

“Wendy and Keith were fantastic hosts tonight. My friend Simon was playing a gig and they couldn't have been friendlier. It's great to go into a pub and feel welcomed immediately. The locals were very friendly too and the pub had a great atmosphere. Highly recommend this pub, especially for families as they were great with kids too. “We had a wonderful meal here. The food was absolutely delicious, there wasn’t a single thing we didn’t like. We shared some starters (the spinach empanadas were amazing, as was the chorizo al Malbec). Our main course (ribeye) was excellent, even the sides (we had creamed spinach) clearly had a lot of attention paid to them. Best of all was our server, Honey. She was so attentive, made great recommendations to us and we felt that she looked after us brilliantly. We will be back!”

“I would just like to start off by saying I can’t say enough good things about this place. I have been ordering from Richie’s for years and have never had any issues with them the portions are more than enough for the price you pay. I have tried many foods from them from chicken to burgers to hotdogs, deserts and milkshakes all have been made to perfection. I decided to eat in a little over a month ago and was greeted with a warm welcome. The staff were very polite and even the manger came over a couple times to make sure everything was as it should be. Would 100% recommend the food is always warm and presented well when delivered and eating in was a lovely and tasty experience.”

“Ive driven past this little gem for years but recently went in for the first time for a 'baby shower' party. The pub is a fair size and has a wonderfully proportioned function area (which I hear from my friend was free to hire!?). The staff were amazingly welcoming and made me feel as though I was a local punter. Prices were average for the area and all in all, I had a wonderful time. Only thing to watch out for is the carpark at the rear of the pub was overwhelmed, maybe due to the special function that day. I found it easier to park on the road around the corner.”
