“Visited on Sunday with my boyfriend, have to say it was absolutely amazing, I had a flat white with oat milk, the vegan earth bowl with plant chicken added, and we shared the coconut and pumpkin cake. All the food and the coffee were perfect, couldn't fault it, the portion sizes were really good too. Lovely interior in the restaurant as well and nice music playing, if slightly loudly. The only minor issue was that the menu said adding the plant based chicken to the salad I had was £4 but the receipt said £5 (didn't notice until I'd already paid).”

“Booked online giving details of our visit and our celebrations and preferred seating! Brilliant seat looking out to river! Then Gemma our waitress introduced herself and she was amazing! Attentive but not overbearing or hovering over us! Food stunning! Then our desserts arrived with chocolate written Happy Birthday for my husband and I had the Happy Anniversary one! (Yes .....we did get married on his birthday!) Atmosphere and music great and sat outside by the river relaxing for a while after with drinks just relaxing! It was the day of the train strike and Uber and taxis letting us down but Siobhan stopped what she was doing to get us a cab firm and that was successful! I last came here many many years ago on the same date to celebrate and did not enjoy the experience at all.....sitting near to kitchen which had a swing door and heard shouting and offensive language every time that door opened which completely ruined our day so you can imagine it took a lot to come back....but took a chance again as heard through the grapevine how nice it is! So glad we did and look forward very much to further visits!! Thankyou again!”

“I rarely post reviews about any restaurant but this restaurant definitely needs some appreciation. I can say that it’s the best one we have seen in recent times. Authentic and delicious food. Staff were well mannered and service is quick & good. Taste of Dosa is just like you get in India. Highly recommend if you are around this area. We will visit again soon. “This restaurant really is our little ray of sunshine. My partner and I have returned to this restaurant over the years when we crave a 'naughty yet comforting' Sunday brunch. We order the same every time; Super breakfast, Lavazza coffee and a banana milkshake. The super breakfast is not for the faint hearted! We often just eat this meal only that day and in terms of value for money, quality and your traditional builder's cafe food, we love it. The homemade bubble and squeak is my favourite part. The milkshakes are thick and delicious. Their attentiveness to their customers is fabulous. The regular staff recognise us and recite our order every time. It makes us smile as honestly we are not there all the time! I would advise eating in rather then delivery. The service is quick and it tastes so much better freshly hot.”

“Was there today around 12. The trainee lady made one of the nicest drink (black forest mocha) I ever had at nero and was very nice despite how busy it was. Kudos for the two staff member for handling such a busy afternoon and to be as polite and kind as they were.”

“Wow! a little gem of an indian takeaway hidden away in a small frontage... but definently doing big things Blink and youll miss it... We only happend to stumble across this place whilst parked up to get milk from sainsburys We ordered starters and mains for three. Food was plentiful and actually lasted for two days. A small portion if salad and free popadoms and dips came with the meal too We had the mixed grill + nan, chicken jalfrezi, chicken sagg and chicken dhansak (didnt order rice - we cooked that ourselves) The grilled mixed meat was exceptional. The guys have a proper tandoor and the meat was excellent quality. The lamb which can normally be tough was melt in the mouth. Spicing was really good with authenic levels of corrieander seed and chilli. There was little to no fat The best dish was the jalfrezi which was the nicest i have ever had. Completely different to what im used to. The chicken was so perfectly cooked. Soft juicy moist and the veg retained flavour and colour. Its actually top end resturant quality. The dhansak had a lovely balance of heat, sweetness and sourness. Really creamy lentil base. Fresh chillies are used to bring heat to the dishes so be warned and ask them to make it to your taste. The sagg was really fresh and again chicken cooked to near prefection. Nice and garlicy with again balanced spicing and a decent level of warmth Nann bread was average, it came with the mixed grill. Salad too was average. Quality of food was actually surprising coming from such a small place - well worth a try. The guy at the desk said their chef had 25 yrs experience which i well belive Thankfully these guys also deliver and their menu has taken pole position on our pile of indians to order from”
