The Running Mare.
● Open“This was my favorite pub. We spent a great deal of time and money there. Good friends made, both staff and locals. Unfortunately, the manager, has no class and a bad attitude. The Runner is on suspension, for me, for 60 days. If it ever happens again, I won’t spend another £ there. Reply - I am not about to Dox anybody. We love the food, atmosphere and friendships. The absolute majority of your staff is excellent. A little bit of tact goes a long way though, as opposed to a “Shoosh”. You should indeed have a conversation with managers about how they deal with people, especially some that drop 500 quid a month. Thanks, Ollie, Very Best. Update - The Running Mare has definitely upped their game. Give credit where credit is due. This is a wonderful place where You will find kind and interesting people. The service and food is excellent. I’m glad. I could post a new review 5/5. Very Best, Ed”

Paloma
● Open“What a gem of a place. Driven past on many occasion, liked the look of the decor. Five years later I finally found myself in there and can honestly say I shall be going back. Considering the quality of the food and service provided there, this one place is very reasonably priced. They make a mean cocktail too. Not to be pushy, but you ought to try it!”

Tunch Kitchen
● Open“Only one other table eating when we arrived mid-afternoon for our first visit to Tunch Kitchen on a lovely bank holiday Monday. We ordered the Turkish wine, which was gorgeous and were given some tasty, warm flatbreads with dips (one garlic and one chilli). We ordered from the set two course menu at £9.50 per person. Each of the meals were really delicious and portions sizes were quite big. We were offered more bread and dips with the main and were given a complementary dessert to share. Theo, our waiter, was brilliant and the decor and ambience were great. Will definitely be going back again very soon!”

Awesome food. Manager and servers are through the roof. I cannot tell you how great this place is. I had the ravioli and my friend had the spaghetti bolognese. Both were incredible. The day prior we did their bar snacks, the max and cheese bites are the best I’ve ever had. The goyoza was incredible. 10/10 If you haven’t been here, you’re missing out.”

Pink Cafè

We had terrible service at a cafe elsewhere up the street as they were not accommodating to our babies sleeping in the pram. Pink cafe were utterly delightful. We were advised which cakes were nicest and had the most yummy cake. The next day we came back and nothing was too much. Food was so delicious (philly cheese wrap, kofta platter and burger) and drinks (chai latte and cuppacino) were amazingly made!!! We can't wait to return to try all the rest of the stuff on the menu and habe the wonderful service again. Chairs are comfy and loos clean. Very happy with our time here.”
