Silent Disco Walking Tours
“Fabulously liberating & really great fun. LGBTQ+ tour with Shaun & Mitchell who entertained us while we “entertained” Soho with our out of tune singing & dodgy dancing. Lovely to feel so many positive vibes from the people we inflicted ourselves upon. Highly recommend xx”
Alex Monroe
“This boutique jeweller specialises in bespoke jewellery that is classy, elegant, and high-quality. They have a real 'friends-of-the-earth' aesthetic. Their wares are hand-crafted in England and they champion supply-line ethics. This inviting alley shop is modern, COVID-compliant, and keeps a sufficient stock for casual shoppers. The staff were knowledgeable and bubbly. Would definitely recommend to any English folk looking for unique and sustainable new jewellery”
Elizabeth Marsh Floral Design
“We used EMFD for our graduation ceremonies this Summer and the team were fantastic to work with from start to finish. They understood the University's brand, our expectations and requirements straight away. We look forward to working with them again on our future events.”
Linbury Theatre
“I very much enjoyed my first visit at Linbury Theatre! The performance was exceptional and both seating and interiors very nice. I would recommend visit it!”
L'oscar Restaurant
“There is a slight feeling of old world decadence and privilege when you visit here, which is quite nice in this era of cold modern interiors. The staff are very professional and the food is of exceptional quality. Visit for a lengthy lunch in the Holborn area of London.”
Newington Court (Stoke Newington)
“Friendly and helpful management (thank you Raphael, Michal & Alejandro) + friendly and helpful volunteers (thank you JP and Julio) + friendly residents. Living in Newington Court feels like living in a big community. I will miss the place and the people!”
Homeslice Neal's Yard
“Amazing pizza at Neal's Yard. A short walk from Covent Garden tube or Leicester Square tube. Neal's Yard is a pretty square. And Homeslice just gets all the 5 stars for their fantastic pizza. The pizzas are around £25 for the full pie. But this pie can feed a village. Their pizzas are possibly the largest I've ever seen. You can also choose 2 different halves when you order a pizza. This allows for more choice and keeps everyone in the group happy. They serve some nice wines and ales too. We are still dreaming of their pizzas weeks later.”
Koha Restaurant & Bar
“Gorgeous food with lovely homey survives. Cafe Koha is the first restaurant I’ve visited in the UK 2 years ago, and it became one of my favorite and special to-go place. It’s a perfect place not only for enjoying seasonal cuisines, but also for casual drinks in a warm atmosphere with the best staffs ever. I highly recommend here when you drop by central London.”
Majestic Wine
“Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. They honestly help you find the right wines to suit you/your occasion/your budget. We joined friends for their wedding wine tasting and had a very enjoyable tasting that was tailored to their needs and menu too. Cannot reccomend them enough, brilliant staff. Thanks!!!”
Dorset Square Hotel
“If you want to feel cared for while visiting London, this is the place to stay. The staff are incredibly attentive, and make great recommendations. The restaurant has delicious food morning, noon and night.”
ODEON Luxe West End
“Great experience! Happened to be watching Avatar (3hr movie) which totally made it worth every penny. Bought the upgraded premier seat, but did not notice any apparent differences from the “normal recliner”. Cinema was dark right from the beginning, so be prepared to turn on your torch to find your seat.”
The Devereux
“Fantastic independent pub with really lovely owners. The pizzas are phenomenal (and good value for money) and they have a great range of different beers. The wines aren't bad either. The thing that really sets this place apart for me is their brilliant pub quiz every Monday. A lot of fun and a cut above your average pub quiz - although I'm yet to win...!”
37 Doughty Street Serviced Apartments
“Absolutely loved staying here – it was modern, clean, super spacious and in such a nice location! Good to be conscious when you're booking that there may be some stairs involved (our room was downstairs), but this wasn't an issue for us at all. No brainer, would stay here again the next time I visit London. Thanks for having us!”
Tiffany & Co.
“Went in to exchange a silver bracelet I bought in the Old Bond Street branch. I had such awful customer service there that I won't go back to that branch. The Covent Garden branch was so different. I had great customer service from Isanah. She exchanged my bracelet for a larger size. Isanah made me feel special and appreciated. Excellent customer service”
Bab Mansour
“Brilliant independent restaurant within 5 minutes walk of Covent Garden. Service was spot on with helpful and knowledgeable people. Food was delicious. When ordering we were told there was a 45 minute wait on the lamb tagine but that we were very welcome to have a drink and eat our starters whenever we wanted. Good communication because it could have been an issue, but it was actually a really nice atmosphere to sit and have a drink with no pressure. All the food we had was very good, the highlight being the kefta tagine (with an egg) which was superb and being able to mop up the juices with the fresh baked flatbread was lovely. Overall bill for 2 courses for 2 people with a bottle of wine and tip included was £85. Would definitely go again.”
The Sun Pub
“Friendly spot run by Herman and Neville. They run a good show, enjoyable.”
YMCA Club
“Lovely cafe with a great gym and pool attached! Alan the chef dished me up an amazing hot veg wrap. Much more than just a tasty snack!”
schuh
“A lovely, bright and well organised shoe store. Absolutely packed-tight with shoes. Amazing staff - especially Stephanie! Don't bother with the Nike Store next door - just do the Schuh!”
Oxford Circus
“I really like this station with the multiple entrances and the red station front that you instantly know as an underground station when you see it when I was there I found the station not too busy but when coming up to street level it was busy.”
Astor Museum Hostel
“Really friendly staff, clean and well-maintained dorms and washrooms. The hostel location is great to explore London. It’s very close to the British Museum”
Ridgemount Hotel
“It's a 2 star hotel so don't expect any luxuries however it does everything well at a fantastic price. Loved my short stay here”
Crown
“Very cool, warm and welcoming traditional London pub, set in the heart of Seven Dials. Fantastic, we had a lovely few drinks here.”
Zedwell Piccadilly Circus
“What a find when booking accommodation in London. Had a really great stay here. Checking in and out was easily done on the tablets in reception, found our room easily and was delighted with the room when we got there. It was clean, comfortable and just what we needed for our night stay. The location is great, right in centre in Piccadilly Circus, however when in the Zedwell you would never know as it is so quiet! Had a great night sleep due to the darkness of the room and the silence. I will definitely be booking here again when I go back to London and will be telling everyone all about it and definitely recommend.”
Macdonald Hotel
“We had to cancel due to a British rail strike. Paul sent us a nice mail and cancelled immediately. Such nice service makes us want to go to Macdonald hotel when we go to London next time. Thanks Paul and see you soon, M&V”
Sarah Ives Luxury Travel Agent
“Sarah is truly fabulous! Responsive, flexible and a master of the upgrade. I wouldn’t travel without her these days!”
Ô Tours de Londres
“We visited Soho with Sophie. her explanations were clear, she had lots of anecdotes (juicy) about the neighborhood, she answered our questions with enthusiasm. I drank her words, I spent a great morning with her, I can only recommend her to you!”
