Birketts LLP
● Open“Birketts recently represented the first buyer in our conveyancing chain. Unfortunately there were some hiccups at Birketts end in which they indicated that they were ready to exchange, only for that retracted hours later. Although we were not their clients, I felt moved to leave a review on google outlining our unhappiness with this. Birketts responded immediately and took remonstrative steps to remedy the situation having apologised profusely. It turned out that unfortunately a trainee solicitor had made a few errors and this is what led to the inaccurate advice around exchange. It was an unfortunate situation as I think it can be quite easy for professionals involved to forget the very real human element of conveyancing but we have been particularly impressed by the professionalism of Birketts since that point and I think we can all admit that we have made mistakes at work when newly qualified. I have been reassured that Birketts took our complaint fully onboard and that they will take steps to ensure that this type of scenario doesn’t happen again. Their communication, updates and professionalism have all been superb to the extent that should we ever move house again, I would definitely use them! It takes a professional to be able to admit a mistake, remedy it and go above and beyond to provide us with a service that we were not even paying them for! Highly recommend!”

Flower Warehouse
● Open517A Cambridge Heath Road, London E2 9BU, United Kingdom“Fantastic massive flower shop in Bethnal Green. We travelled quite far to come here and it was well worth our time and effort. La Meridiana
● Closed“Superb. Lovely welcome, fabulous food from starter to sweet. 50% off Steak Night a real bonus. We dined early but there was no awkwardness of, at first, being the only people in there. Soon the place was buzzing, including a Scout group creating their own pizzas outside. Great community inclusion. Altogether more than 10/10. We don't live close which is a good thing....we'd be there far too often! However we will return, too good to miss.”

640East
● OpenUpper Bank Street, London E14 5JJ, United Kingdom“Great place and SUPER friendly staff, coffee is brilliant! There’s a bar there as well which opens around lunchtime which is a great touch. Definitely recommend and much needed in that location. The ONLY thing is I would like to buy pastries from there but unfortunately they use a supplier who supply a couple of places in Canary Wharf who aren’t the greatest bakers. Everything is massive and a bit undercooked. That said I still 5 star them as it’s a great coffee shop.”

I would highly recommend this pub for families, couples, friends or whatever the event may be. The fresh flowers were lovely. It's really clean music just at the right level. And the beer on tap also amazing whatever you choose from larger to Guinness staff knew how to pour a pint or 2. I would highly recommend.”

As we entered the establishment, a friendly and well-informed bartender greeted us and provided expert advice on drink choices before leading us to the restaurant. The attentive staff went above and beyond to make our evening unforgettable, and the food was simply heavenly, showcasing the expertise of the talented chef and their team. The staff were amazing and attentive, the food was great and the atmosphere and entertainment was great. Everyone had a wonderful time and I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to share a party and make some new friends. We didn't stay over so can't comment on the rooms. A special mention to Grant Chatfield, events manager who was extremely helpful and accommodating when we were booking and also gave as a lovely welcome on arrival.”

Great Guns Social Bar & Restaurant
● Closed“Some of the best food in London at a cool location - brilliant cocktails, stylish decor and really friendly staff. The kitchen rotates pop ups every few months; so there's always something new to try. The current pop-up, Fodder, serve delicious and innovative modern British 'pub tapas' - the chef's fine dining roots are evident, and original and nostalgic plates with locally foraged ingredients really set them appart in London's pop-up scene. Highly recommended: try the kimchi bloody mary or the smokey old fashioned (served in a small vial to pour over ice) - they rock!”
