“This place has really taken a huge upward turn since the removal of the former manager and is now surely the only pub in Barnet to frequent. The food here is phenomenal, the Sunday roast is by far the best in the area and there’s a quiz night every Wednesday, what’s not to like? A special mention goes to the fantastic staff who are all warm, welcoming human beings with a great energy that have put the Black Horse right back where it should be.”

“Fantastic park cafe serving all the usual with an added twist...they also do Polish traditional dishes as well! So, for instance, you can get a hamburger...or a Polish grilled sausage with onions in a fresh baguette- a Polish Hot Dog! Different kinds of Perogi too. Great tea and coffee options and very good ice-cream. The staff are excellent and friendly. Eat inside or out.”

“Lovely people! If you’re around, definitely try the shop where you can find many hot\cold beverages and some pastries. You can also pay a very small fee and visit the animal centre behind the coffee shop. For anything you pay for, the money goes to the animals in need. So this is a great way to spend your time and your money. They are not making any profit. P.s. they sell their own honey and it is a great place to visit with kids :)”

“I have eaten Thai food here which I can recommend. Also live music events on Sunday afternoons and karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights. Bar staff are friendly and so is the landlord Steve who will accommodate your parties for you”

He's super talented and passionate for dentistry which comes across from the moment you meet him in the practice. I felt comfortable and assured under his care. “My son was at Alphablocks for 2.5 years and he loved it there. His days were filled with both teacher led and independent fun activities in a safe and nurturing environment. All the team were interested in his development and by the time he left, their investment in him was evident. I was also very happy with the personal care given to him from when he started there in diapers to being toilet trained when he left. One of the first things that attracted me to the Nursery was the extensive outdoor space. The children spend a lot of time outdoors in most weather playing, learning and exploring. It also helped in preparation for Reception that Alphablocks introduces the children to Phonics and Numeracy early. I also liked that the Nursery uses storybook themes in an inventive way as part of the children’s learning. I can’t recommend Alphablocks highly enough.”
